Amazing, but it fills my whole apartment so when I'm in here a while I stop noticing it (my odor control has stopped being terribly effective, need to get more Ona, you can smell it right when you open the door to my apt. - one day the smell was so strong upon entering my sister described it as "assaulting" her). How to describe the smell... like spicy-skunky citrus!

They started having a smell early on, though, originally it was just kinda skunky, then it evolved

i've taken to calling them "my stinky girls" for that very reason, lol

So you were using the ona, what kind? I actually have some of the linen scent kind but haven't had to use it yet as I have been growing nothing but low smell strains. Pretty much like some fresh flowers. It worked pretty good? Did you do the bucket thing?

just curious how did you stop the light coming in from your intake fans?

I'm almost considering giving one plant the chop early just so the other has room to fill out, but am hesitant to do so. : /

What do you guys think?

ummm... damn! Thats a tough one just for the fact that you are only like 20 days away from her turning into a nice big girl. Do you have anywhere else in the apt. that you can just throw a couple of cfl's to, like another closet or anything? I would hate for you to take her down right now. But if need be, I say you chop off one of the lower buds and test it out for potency. If you think its some kill, then I say go ahead. You'll still get to see what the full potential high is as well. Im no pro or anything like that tho, just saying what I would do.

No way man, just grab yourself some more ona and spray the whole house.give it at least 2 more weeks,and dont regret later

Nice plants, plus a great discussion of the different ER phenos - though my girls are slightly different than his main two ("stella" and "jennifer" are the closest to samus and faye). Mine are the third main pheno, just so happens to be the worst for my case - tall, leggy, a bunch of smaller (but tall) branches, slow-maturing - some up to 3'.

The main one, the one they advertise for the seeds, is of a big fat main cola with maybe four-eight smaller branches, but with thick nugs - and this pheno usually only gets to 18". That would've been perfect for my case! Minimal branching, shorter. But no, I couldn't even get the last pheno - this one is inbetween the other two, of moderate height, with branching somewhere inbetween the short, fat pheno and the taller, wispier one.

Oh yeah, and the short to moderate height phenos also mature much faster than mine, on average - sometimes at day 60-65, whereas mine has been known to take up to 85 days... of course. Stable F1 hybrid my a**!!

Bah.

But no, I've decided I can't chop one of them early, I'm just too attached to my girls. They're starting to get a little yellow here and there, but I assume that OKish at this point? Still a bunch of green, some of the larger fan leaves are just getting yellow

Ah well, a few blurry pics, I intend to get some more tomorrow after their watering



edit: ha ha, in one or two pics, you can see one longish superfine hair - my cat loves my plants. she was sitting and staring at my girls before i snapped the pics, the fan must've caught a strand or two. i'll clear 'em out

also, this is day 47, i just forgot how late it was lol

They're still able to draw in plenty of fresh air, but the front of the case covers any light leaks from the intake fans

plus, you wouldn't really be able to notice the light during the daytime, and I have them set to go off at night, so no potential light to be leaked there. Although, might get a little brighter in there during the daytime, 'cause I bought some more CFLs, some socket adapters, and a little ol' extension cord, et al. I'm considering adding some lights down below, situated kinda inbetween the two pots, or a little above them. It'd be added heat - but both the intake fans would be blowing directly on them. Think it'd be ok to do so?

I have a few diff CFLs, 14w, 23w, 30w, nothing too big, the case is so eensy

Thats what I say! Tho the auto's are not quite going too big...but you get what I'm trying to say! lol

hey thanks for the info, yeah i'm wanting to do a pc stealth grow, as well, but i'm just trying to figure out how not to have any light pollution. i'm usually in my room and have to have some sort of light in my room at night, i just might have to resort to my computer screen being the only thing on. idk i'll try and figure something out

hey bro your EZryders looks alot better then mines, i grew 2 and both came out shit barely any trichs, but i have 3 more seeds and seeing your grow imma give the other 3 seeds a shot

Patience, gentlemen/ladies/etc., some things take time - aging a fine wine, for example.

Some random new growth coming in at the bottom, who knows how long they've got yet to go.

Took a few pictures of Samus alone in the case a while back, since she's always a bit obscured by Faye.

Looks great, you do a fine job there Miss feelingreen. The LST bending seemed to work out for you. Nice crystal production

You figured out which plant you're going to go with next? It needs to be pretty short to squeeze a couple in there

Im guessing it should be done by now...any harvest or pre harvest shots of the buds?
