Paying it Forward

I just had a good cry. I was reading the paper this morning and came across a story telling about how Del Taco is helping people pay it forward by giving out $100.00 worth of gift cards to homeless people who can then use them and give some of the gift cards to their homeless friends. I was doing just fine reading the article until I got to a part where an excited child who was a reciepient of some of the gift cards exclaimed, "Now we can get chocolate shakes!" That was all it took to make my tears start flowing. It suddening hit me - My God how fortunate I am! I'm sitting in one of two houses that I live in now. Nora's house is a beautiful 6 bedroom house. At the end of the day we go back to our little house in the mountains that is now covered in snow.

Helping the unfortunate my ass. Getting some good press so they will get more paying customers thru the doors to eat the toxic waste that they call food.

Fast food = illness and early death.

No food = quicker illness and death. I won't begrudge'm the treats.
