I too enjoy that show. I also like to watch the 'American Pickers' on the History channel.. and then I also like to watch 'Storage Wars' on A&E channel.
Those are two of my favorite shows right now..
I think the reason I like them so much.. is because I like antiques and I LOVE going to estate sales and garage sales.
Take for example.. just yesterday, Saturday.. I went to an estate sale a few blocks down from me and I hit the jackpot man.
I found a 'Tiffany' style, stained glass.. vintage Coca-Cola hanging stained glass lamp. These things are worth $300 to $750.00 depending on condition.
The one I got.. I only paid $20 bucks for!! This is why I love going to these big estate sales.. is because most the time, the estate sale people.. dont do any
research on the items that they're selling. Sometimes they do.. sometimes they don't.. and in this case, they apparently didn't do any research on this item.
It's cool though, their loss is my gain.
But yeah, its a fun hobby.. and it keeps me busy on Friday and Saturdays.
You know, they say that 'idle hands' are the Devil's playground...
I highly believe in that... just from my past personal experiences in my 29 years of life.But yeah, those are some of my favorite shows.
Oh, and how could I ever forget.. 'Deadliest Catch' on Discovery channel. That's another one of my favorite shows.
Lastly.. my last favorite show, is 'Ghost Adventures' on the 'Travel Channel'. They're on Friday and Saturday nights.
I like that show.. because they show the raw evidence, as it happens.. instead of like those other "ghost investigations" shows.. where they
go back to their computers to "analyze" the evidence first.. and then they show it to the audience/viewers.. which gives them time to "insert" or "edit"
certain things.. before showing it to the viewers/audience... I don't like fakes.
