Ok, it may seem like I am dicking around with my design BUT, since I am building and since it is taking time it affords me the opportunity to obsses until the room is done. Hopefully this results in a better environment ?

today we panda wrap, build soffits, etc....

here is the design I am moving forward with

I'm not trying to be a dick here, but i can't possibly imagine a more inefficient way to route your ducting and fans. I have offered you a bunch of help, but seriously, i'm starting to wonder about your inability to understand the physics behind ventilation and temperature control.

Injecting air into another stream of air at a 90 degree angle really really kills airflow. Especially in small diameter pipes like 6" ones. Like I said before you only need ONE linine fan to cool those lights. If that loop is closed, you don't need to filter it, as there is no way for the smell to enter the loop. Comprende?

Run the duct like it is shown in the picture. Then mount your CF on the ceiling with the exit outside the room. Then connect your CF fan AND your booster fans on a single temperature control switch. done.

NOW your getting it. My only comment... you only need one CF and inline fan for an exhaust. Place it in your "hottest" room. The reason you only need one is that the flow on the CF inline fan is going to be the same as two of the little booster fans.

Also, if you haven't purchased the velcro for your panda doors yet, don't. Buy the stick on zippers. They are like $12 but actually work really really well. You stick them on, then use a razor to cut the panda film, then they zip right up.

Velcro gets "tired", it can leak light, and there is no way to really "seal" it well in a door application as you can really "push" it together because the two strips are just hanging in space, meaning your just pushing on the panda film and trying to tear it off the wall when your closing your velcro door. ... I hope that makes sense.

Cool, saves me coin to ditch the other CF / fan combo.

zipper idea sound great. Def, going to implement that....

Update on rooms: 3 soffits built, 1 room wrapped.

I have been taking some build pics and have been thinking about puttin them up here...
