what about cfm's? which fan should move more air, the exhaust?

sorry, for the n00b question. i just read about active exhaust/passive vent setup.
but if anyone has any advice for how many cfm's i should use to exhaust a 32' cu area with a 400hps while using the same exhaust fan to cool the light, i would appreciate it.
