Passive Drip Mother System, Potential Idea

i guess i asked this in the wrong area the first time any thoughts on the following

I don't think there is enough downward pressure with no pump to use this as a hydro method. It looks like smartpots to me, which is for soil or coco. For the time and effort, you could build an ebb & grow and have an effective, automated system. IMO it won't work, but I'm not much for home building systems, so maybe someone who is more skilled at building things could help out. I just didn't want to see you hangin' twice .

supposedly they can be used in gravity feed, didnt know if anyone has heard of such a system
