Passive air tent? Help? Will it smell??

Okay so I got my new 3x3x6.5 grow tent a month ago and was woundering will it smell since teir is 3 rectangle holes at te bottom of the tent? I think it would be called passive air intake or outtake but I have a fan pulling air out of the tent which in return is pulling air in the tent. I'll be adding a carbon filter once it starts to smell or in flower stage. Now like I said above will it smell since their air holes open at the bottom?/:

As long as you maintain a vacuum (negative pressure) in your tent, the affected air will not escape. Be sure to blow thru the hood instead of drawing thru it due to the fact that you may be drawing affected air thru leaks in the duct connections and reflector housing.

the sides of the tent will look sucked in if you have negative pressure, and then most of the smell will be sucked out thru your carbon filter. if you dont see the sides of your tent looking sucked up, you can cover the holes at the bottom one at a time until you get the pressure you want.

AWSOME I thought that meant I had to much cfms(; then we good to go! It's only on 2/3 speed so when I either build or buy my carbon filter I'll bump it up to 3rd speed if needed ( thanks guys I feel much better! Yeah once I turn that fan on *SHRRRRUNK!!* goes all the walls haha they suck in

plants can stink heavily in veg and you may not smell it as you live with it ive had ppl tell me before they can smell green thats how i know it can happen just like BO you smell like BO to long you wont notice it but others will

now I'm having a problem with my diy carbon filter I did the steps by step one I the most popular ones. Now I got activated carbon PELETTS are u supposed to crush then or what bc I lit a piece of paper on fire in te tent just to make it smoke and see if the filet works and I can smell it going out the fan out of the tent/: so..

The sides stil suck in.. Negative pressure is good.

Burning paper is going to smell no matter what you do, dont worry. Virtual sun is a pretty decent tent I love mine, and I'm actually very surprised with Apollo. It might be a better tent, to early to tell. DIY is fun and a little cheaper but a real filter is the best, not that DIY doesn't work it's just like comparing cfl's and hid's. Plants stink in veg something nice! Especially when the lights go out, for some reason I can smell them more about 5 minutes after. But with a filter you wont have that problem.
