Parchment paper

Hi

Im not a native speaker and some words just dont translate right. Is this the kind of paper people buiy at the super market for baking etc? Like grease proof paper? Laying cookies so they stick in oven etc?
Ive always just used the silicone stuffs,

parchment for baking is a paper coated with silicone. Cookies don't stick to it.

Unbleach Raw parchment paper is my favorite, just dont use wax paper.. the parchment paper with the foil on one side is the best but extremely hard to find locally

So wait its not just regular old baking paper then? It has a coat on it?
