papaya, kush grow

hey douche, i dried mine by laying them on cookie racks and turning them often. when the stems got to where they would crack i put them in brown paper lunch sacks leaving the top open. i still have a small amount of grass smell but not much. the other night i was in the bedroom with my wife and i broke apart a nug to load a bowl. she thought that i had fired it up in the house. it has a strong smell. my wife is a none smoker and i usually only smoke in my office or on the front porch.

this is on all the lower leaves of the papaya. it moved to a few more leaves but not bad. i will water again tomorrow and adjust ph as needed.

That's kinda risky bringing plants in from outside... I hope you don't bring in any pests with them

this morning i watered the plants using a tsp and a half of tiger bloom to a gallon of water ph'ed to 7. the run off at the lowest was 6.2, the highest 6.8
they look like they made a 100% recovery.

the plants are looking good tonight. still not showing any signs of sex.
i went to the local home depot and got some miracle grow organics, no nutes added. i baked this dirt in the oven to sterilize.
the blue mystic will be planted in this.
out of 4 grows i like the miracle grow organic.

the girls are growing like weeds and still not showing any signs of sex. i'm going to have to cut the top out of these girls, they got to tall on me

after looking at the girls this morning, i'm thinking one is male. can't say for sure yet. they've been getting fed a tablespoon of tiger bloom mixed to a gallon of water ph'd to 6.5, the runoff was 6.5 too. next feeding i will add some big bloom for the nitrogen.

the kushes got put in the dirt for an outside grow. i used a 50/50 mix of compost from my pile and the dirt that came from the hole i dug for back fill. the holes i dug are 5 gallons or so. i just need to watch for rabbits. the 22 is loaded and ready, but my old blind ass probally needs to load up the 12 gauge.

the 2 blue mystic seedlings are finially showing signs of recovery from the ph problems.

that is the way i do it now, i use to check the runoff only if i seen problems. now it gets checked everytime

i ended up getting 2 male plants out of 4 papayas. damn the bad luck. i only wanted one male for breeding

hey tom, i've read that thread by fdd. about to read it again this morning.

i've decided that tonight when the lights come on i will take the healthier male and female and put them in my old grow closet under cfl's. the weaker male will go to the compost pile. i've also been thinking about taking the weaker female and planting outside and leave the pair under the 400hps.

texas weather, calling for a freeze sunday morning. i'm going to cover the kushes with 5 gal buckets. the rest of my vegtables will get covered up with old sheets. grandpa use to say, never put your garden out before easter.

i might have to get rid of everything i have going. so it may not matter. should know more by this afternoon.

talking about bouncing off walls, i dug 2 of the master kush back up, they are going in the closet. the 2 male papaya plants are going in the compost pile. i still have 2 papaya seeds, 4 blue mystic seeds, 10 northern light seeds, and 10 hindu kush. that is plenty to get me by for now.

the bit of a scare i had was last night i get a call from my niece, she got pulled over and had warrants for her arrest. the cops let me and my wife come pick her baby up before they took her in. she's a recovering crack head and has burned almost every bridge she has ever crossed. she was living with my mom, she's 82 years old, to old for the drama. my mom told her that she can't come back because my mom had already gave her money to pay that fine off. i talked to her boyfriend and he said he almost had enough up to post her bond and that she and the baby can move in with him. i'm going to meet him at his apt. tonight. i hope it's not a shit hole. she has been clean for almost 2 years now. my children changed my world, when you have kids at the house it is time to step up to the plate and take care of business.

I know the feeling. For years I was a loner and then met my wife who had a kid and also a foster daughter living with her. Fast forward a few years and now we adopted our foster kid I adopted my wifes daughter and we have 2 other foster girls staying with us. I have an old friend who is a pill head and always needs money or is in trouble and needs help. Its never his fault though according to him. I am at a point in my life where I can't help him anymore. Sometimes they need to get no help to learn to help themselves.
