hello people recently I been suffering with slight Anxiety.... its very bad and feel like I am going to loose my mind or something, but its like I make it happen and focus my point of thought in that area.....

I used to get panic attacks many years ago but they went....

apparentlyfood and water has a key roll in it as I have been eating SHIT lately and over the top protein

any way I wish every one the best of wellness and I know how horrible this feeling is....... cerebrals heads up high don't help lol so start looking or the amber trichs

p.s is their any good anti anxiety strains????

Water
There is no quicker way to reduce general anxiety than having good eating and drinking habits. One of the most easily implemented and effective additions to your diet is fresh water. Water is a great quencher of thirst—but more importantly here—It is a helpful tool as an anxiety cure.
Nearly every function of the body is monitored and pegged to the efficient flow of water through our system. Water transports hormones, chemical messengers, and nutrients to vital organs of the body. When we don't keep our bodies well-hydrated, they may react with a variety of signals such as anxiety, which we would never think are related to our poor drinking habits.
Diet to Help Eliminate Anxiety : Water Here are some interesting information about water:
1. Seventy-five percent of Americans are chronically dehydrated.
2. In 37% of Americans, the thirst mechanism is so weak that it is often mistaken for hunger.
3. Even MILD dehydration will slow down one's metabolism as much as 3%.
4. One glass of water will shut down midnight hunger pangs for almost 100% of the dieters studied in a University of Washington study.
5. Lack of water is the #1 trigger of daytime fatigue.
Regular fresh drinking water is a vital ingredient to your diet when looking at anxiety cures. When we are dehydrated, our cells can feel this at a molecular level and communicate this to the subconscious as an underlying subtle anxiety. The key to rebalancing a deficit of fluids is to drink eight glasses of fresh water daily.
Have you noticed the effects of dehydration on your emotions before? If you have ever suffered from a serious hangover from a night out on the tiles, you will understand the feeling of dehydration all too well. Hangovers result from dehydration and electrolyte imbalance. I am sure many of you are familiar with the tendency to have what has become known as “the hangover fear.” This is a heightened sense of anxiety and jumpiness that results from the dehydration caused by a hangover. The surest way for someone who suffers from anxiety to experience a panic attack is to drink excessive amounts of alcohol and wait for the hangover to set in the following day. Water is a great cure for anxiety in this particular situation.
It is important to be aware that dehydration is a factor that contributes to anxiety and that a diet to help eliminate anxiety should contain ample amounts of fresh water. Personally, I have found that not only does regular intake of water ward off subtle feelings of anxiety thus greatly helping as a cure for anxiety, but it is also incredibly effective for building stamina and avoiding fatigue.
Diet to Help Eliminate AnxietyDiet (Food) On average, most people have a very acidic diet, which results in not just a lower resistance to stress but to a variety of serious health problems. Your diet is something you can immediately control and help you build your resources of anxiety cures. As you master your diet, not only are you improving your overall well-being but are also building up a positive mental attitude, which says, “I am in control of my body.”
If our internal environment is too acidic, this can exaggerate any anxiety we may be experiencing. The body is in a greater state of health when it is balanced internally. What is needed is to bring the body’s internal pH balance into acceptable parameters. The elimination of high anxiety is not easy unless you maintain an alkaline balance in the food you eat. If your food is too acidic or you indulge in excessive amounts of foods, your body cannot function at its best. It will have difficulty eliminating toxins from your body, and will have less of a buffer zone to stress, leaving you feeling vulnerable and shaken when anxiety strikes.
Food such as salt, sugar, and refined or processed products lower your body’s resistance, whereas food such as fruit and vegetables raise it. As you control your body’s needs, you empower yourself and gradually build a body that does not feel threatened by an onslaught of high anxiety.
Proteins, nuts, grains, and dairy products (except yoghurt) along with alcohol, sugar, and salt are acidic foods.
Fruit, vegetables, and juices, are alkaline.
Diet to help eliminate anxiety
For optimum balance you need an 80% alkaline diet. This means concentrating on fruits and raw vegetables using proteins in small quantities for when you need energy. A person with a good diet needs only 50 g of protein a day. This should consist of 7 ounces of animal protein (or a vegetarian equivalent) or 36 ounces of good yoghurt. The rest of your diet to help eliminate anxiety should be alkaline (should you have a very strenuous or physical occupation you may need more than 50 g of protein a day). Below is a more comprehensive list of alkaline foods that will help bring greater balance to your diet and help you cure your anxiety more easily.
Diet to Help Eliminate AnxietyA diet to help eliminate anxiety should contain.... Parsnips Rutabagas Cauliflower Mushrooms Green Beans Green Peas White Potatoes Tomatoes Muskmelon Cantaloupe Limes Tangerines Strawberries Pineapple Oranges Grapes Apricots Blackberries Peaches Raspberries Pears Apples Beans, Dried Dried Figs Dried Dates Bananas Raisins Avocados Prunes Sweet Potatoes Watermelons Honeydew Melon Almonds Millet Molasse Beet Greens Celery Chard Leaves Watercress Sauerkraut Lettuce Green Limas Cucumbers Radishes Cabbage Broccoli Beets Brussel Sprouts Carrots Green Soybeans Raw Spinach
Diet to help eliminate anxiety Minerals to help cure anxiety
Mineral stores in your body have a buffering action on acid and tend to alkalize the acidity in the internal environment. Low or deficient mineral stores can lead to acidic bodily pH. The buffering action of mineral stores keeps the pH toward the healthier and slightly alkaline side of the pH scale. This buffering system is delicately balanced and can get disrupted under mineral-deficient conditions. Both the acid and mineral residues are discarded through the urinary tract. Over time, this depletes the mineral stores if they are not replaced. This is the reason we should ensure to get adequate mineral levels in a proper diet to help eliminate anxiety. If we don't get adequate levels through the fruits and vegetables we eat, then we need to use good quality supplement minerals to help aid our efforts to cure anxiety.
Nutrients that are paramount in helping the body cope with stress include B complex, raw adrenal concentrate, desiccated liver, flax seed oil, and colloidal minerals. A balanced B-complex vitamin supplement is essential in normal pituitary and adrenal function. Without B complex, these glands will not produce adequate hormone levels.
Minerals are absolutely essential in normal bodily functions including autonomic nervous system function. A good example of their importance is demonstrated by the role a mineral, such as magnesium, plays in bodily functioning. Magnesium is instrumental in over 270 biochemical reactions in the body. It also helps regulate the pH (acid-base balance) of the human physiology. The human body functions within a very narrow pH range. Sodium and potassium are essential in nervous system functioning. Without either one of them, our nervous system would be inoperable and we would die. These minerals are usually found naturally in the vegetable that we eat. However, the mineral content in vegetables has diminished over the years from the depletion of the soil. Therefore, it may be necessary to take mineral supplements as part of a diet to help eliminate anxiety.
The truth is that it can be very difficult to maintain composure and confidence in your ability to handle all that life throws your way if your body is malnourished or deficient in vital foodstuffs. Look after your body’s needs, and you will be strengthening your body’s ability to cure anxiety and panic attacks.
I am convinced over the next five to ten years, a definitive link will be made between diet and helping cure anxiety. There are some very interesting research currently being conducted in 2004 into the connection between improving schizophrenia dramatically using a gluten-free diet. Although schizophrenia has nothing to do with anxiety or panic attacks, it is an example of how science is now looking to foodstuffs and their connection to our mental health.

Panic attacks and general anxiety can consume your life, robbing you of your confidence and joy.
If you suffer from...

  • Palpitations
  • a pounding heart, or an accelerated heart rate
  • Sweating
  • Trembling or shaking
  • Shortness of breath
  • A choking sensation
  • Chest pain or discomfort
  • Nausea or stomach cramps
  • Derealization (a feeling of unreality)
  • Fear of losing control or going crazy
  • Fear of dying Numbness or a tingling sensation
  • Chills or hot flashes
...then you've experienced firsthand some of the possible symptoms of a panic or anxiety attack.
If you suffer from panic attacks, the above example probably seems very familiar. The particular situations that trigger your panic and anxiety may differ; maybe the bodily sensations are a little different. Or maybe it happened to you for the first time on a plane, in the dentist chair, or even at home, while doing nothing in particular.
If you have ever had what has become known as a “panic attack,” take comfort in the fact that you are by no means alone.
A panic attack always comes with the acute sense of impending doom. You feel you are either about to lose your mind or one of your vital bodily functions is about to cease functioning correctly.
You are by no means alone; you’re not even one in a million. In America, it is estimated that almost 5% of the population suffer from some form of anxiety disorder. For some, it may be the infrequent panic attacks that only crop up in particular situations-like when having to speak in front of others, while, for other people, it can be so frequent and recurring that it inhibits them from leaving their home. Frequent panic attacks often develop into what medical physicians refer to as a “panic disorder.”
It may be that you never have panic attacks but experience general anxiety all day long. If that is the case you will also find very helpful information on this site.
One of the first steps to regaining control of your life is getting helpful information. This site will give you that, and more.
The beginning of your recovery starts here. What you will learn is that there is a very good chance you are about to end the cycle of panic attacks and general anxiety in your life. You will learn not only to regain the carefree life you remember once having, but will also gain new confidence in living. Your answer to living free from “panic” or “general anxiety” is at hand.
Begin the road to recovery by browsing through the site. While many of you may have read almost everything you can possibly read relating to panic and anxiety I assure you this site offers something very effective.
By the way, did you know...?
The key difference between someone who is cured of panic attacks and those who are not is really very simple. The people who are cured no longer fear panic attacks. I’ll try to show you how to be one of these people as well.
You know the saying that "what you resist, persists." Well that saying applies perfectly to fear. If you resist a situation out of fear, the fear around that issue will persist. How do you stop resisting? You move directly into it, into the path of the anxiety, and by doing so it cannot persist.
In essence what this means is that if you daily voluntarily seek to have a panic attack, you generally will not have one.
Try in this very moment to have a panic attack and I will guarantee you cannot. You may not realize it but you have always decided to panic. You make the choice by saying this is beyond my control.
Another way to appreciate this is to imagine having a panic attack is like standing on a cliff's edge. The anxiety seemingly pushes you closer to falling over the edge.
To be rid of the fear you must metaphorically jump. You must jump off the cliff edge and into the anxiety and fear and all the things that you fear most.
How do you jump? You jump by wanting to have a panic attack. You go about your day asking for anxiety and panic attacks to appear.
Your real safety is the fact that a panic attack will never harm you. That is medical fact. You are safe, the sensations are wild but no harm will come to you. Your heart is racing but no harm will come to you. The jump becomes nothing more than a two foot drop! Perfectly safe.
Some of the information on this site forms a small part of the Panic Away course I teach which eliminates panic attacks for people immediately.
My course "Panic Away" has been proven highly successful with both long and short term sufferers of panic attacks and general anxiety.

Interesting. Unfortunately I know the feeling.

I often get derealization and have occasionally experienced it for several years but within the last year it has become much more pronounced.

I also get a feeling of fear in social situations, even though I know nothing will happen.

Thanks for posting.

Indica's are generally better for panic/anxiety disorders. Any kind of Kush. I've also heard Strawberry cough doesn't induce any anxiety, but I've never tried it.

there must be a long time medical strain (effects) thread on RUI right?

Purple Kush: helps my stomach and bleeds off my stress/anxiety

Slow train: ruins me for a good long while and my back pain just melts away
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Romulan-munchies, sleep inducer
AK-47-pain relief, day dreaming, anti stress
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hi all- I've been working my way through the various strains, trying to find an appropriate cannabis strain for me. My heart has a tendency to race, so I avoid most Sativas. Here's my experiences so far:

Romulan: Pleasant slight mental high. *Great painkiller*/minor muscle relaxant. Aided sleep. My heart doesn't race at all on this stuff! Apparently, it has a lower THC content than many, and this may account for it's mellowness. Yeah! It also doesnt make me feel 'stoned' or stupid.

Blueberry Kush: Medium pain control. Medium body high, STRONG sleep inducer. Knocked me out....twice.

Peak 19- Too strong! 1/4 of a puff made my heart race for about a half hour, and made me feel like I was going to be ill. I hate this crap!!

Mango+Durban cross: Decent painkiller, euphoric feeling, 'couch-lock'. Slightly 'stupid' high, and munchie inducer. Makes my fingers feel numb occasionally.

Trainwreck: Anti-anxiety. Muddled my thoughts a bit but not too much to be disturbing. Good painkiller. Slight heartrate elevation. Extreme munchee inducer.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Skunk#1 that was grown on the PainPal system is VERY relaxing for me, it numbs my chronic back pain and is a real easy on the throat smoke. Two reasonable sized bowls and I'm off to "la la land"
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nevles Haze is really good for psychiactric conditions, mood, and anxiety. I love Sensi-Star for it's ability to control muscle pain and nausea. It also has a wonderful aroma and taste to boot.

I am curious if the Blueberry is really helpful for muscle spasms. Or what about restless leg? I have been up for the past three nights with restless leg and nothing is helping.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I had a friend (RIP) who used to swear by Super Silver Haze cookies for his troublesome RLS and arthritic spinal problems. I have a couple of people I caregive that gave the strain a trial. Both of them said that the SSH cookies worked better than Rx medication and that Indica's did nothing for them.

They also are very good for neuropathy and spasms from Multiple Sclerosis.
I eat 2 strong cookies a day - like clockwork - and dropped the Rx meds for spasms. This works well for me and it's the first thing I will give to someone
who has MS or bladder problems that come with MS. Nothing I've used works better.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have said it before, the Amsterdam Bubble Funk has a way of getting rid of my HEADACHES when the pinched nerve in my neck acts up with those top of the cranium gems of PAIN. Without a doubt, better than any asprin ever taken, and with immediate relief. As a general pain reliever, this strain does little for my FIBROMYALGIA. For that pain, i rely on Bubble Gum, or Blueberry to get me the relief i need, for the most part.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
afgani trainwreck -for my mind,muscles,pain
original u.w.-pain-
l.a. hogsbreath-pain,sleep,..frontal lobe action,lol.
i dont eat inless ingesting.trainwreck good for that.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BUBBLE GUM, LIFESAVER, AMSTERDAM BUBBLE FUNK, & Kali Misty definitely help me to cope with my FIBO flare ups, by the way
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
AK-47- A more 'active' high, pretty decent munchie factor after a few minutes, and a very pleasant mental haze. Pain relief is definitely also a good plus with this one: an 8 for neuropathic pain, and a 9 for muscular pain. Effects are felt instantly, and although it's very potent, it doesn't make my heart race at all.

New York City Diesel- This strain tends to put a bit of 'tightness' in my chest. A 7-8 for pain control, and an odd discernable head buzz. This tends to come on slowly for me. Small munchie factor.

Trainwreck (further thoughts)- This is a really great strain to be active with. I've been using Trainwreck in the morning, followed by small hits of AK-47 throughout the day for pain relief, and it's very effective.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Medicine Man- Excellent for neuropathic pain. I've been told by some that this is another name for White Rhino....although it doesn't seem to have as 'active' a quality as I expected from this strain. More than any other strain, this cannabis creates a fogging mental haze that can be shaken off if necessary, but really helps with perception of pain. I give this a 10 out of 10 for pain control and general anti-anxiety/mood elevation, however, I'd save it for the night- it's not the most motivating thing in the world, although it is possible to become productive if you push yourself enough.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Afgooy. Great for stomach stuff as well. Serious couch lock. This stuff will make your face numb.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
M-39- Very happy, decent bodily relaxation, excellent anti-anxiety, and good for cramps.

Silver Haze- AMAZING for pain- it's a very even head/body buzz, but it's an alert, cerebral one. I want to be busy when I'm on this stuff.

RomSpice- This is the strongest body high I've ever felt. It literally makes my whole body feel numb and tingly. I give it a 12 out of 10 for pain. It surpasses Romulan by at least half. AMAZING and wonderful! It not only kills my pain- without massive amounts of opiates, but it also helps withdrawl symptoms- VERY well. It brought my aches down to being barely tolerable with advil (as opposed to me lying on the floor aching, shaking and vomiting).

I highly recommend the club on 9th St. (10th st. is okay too, but the staff isn't nearly as knowledgable) in San Francisco. They know exactly what strains suit which ailments. Apparently, Cindy99 is supposed to be excellent for MS- they make bhang out of the most potent strains they have (RomSpice and Cindy99 for this batch), and many MS patients haven't needed anything more than an occasional advil. AMAZING stuff.

Anti nausea strains: (I have BAD nausea due to a bad liver, kidney disfunction, and mental trauma/PTSD) RomSpice, Silver Haze, Romulan, NY Sour Diesel, M-39, Blue Moonshine, are ALL excellent- their effectivness is in order from greatest to lesser- but all of them work very well.

NY Sour Diesel is excellent for anxiety, as is Bubblegum. SD gives an almost tangible sense of relaxation in the head- it killed a developing migraine before it started.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
my personal preference for treating MS, is ANY strong Indica,,, i stay away from any/all pure Sativas,,,

the reason is the effects from Sativas- energetic up buzz,, activates my spazticity with this disease,,,

it turns on my shaking in plain terms, makes me shake more,, it makes me vibrate, -try drinking coffeee i end up wearing it.

so for me,, an Indica,, a very very strong Indica, is what i need to treat my issues with MS- Neuropathic pain,, spazticity,,,

indicas turn off my spazticity,,,

someone should take a video of me before/after,, when i am shakin,, what MORE PROOF do these flippin idiots in the medical/political world need???

and yes they have pills for me,, tegretol, neurontin topomax, all these are RX'd for Epilepsy,, not MS and so NOT COVERED for my treatment??? and they have to be taken in large doses to get symptom relief,, very costly,,,

FYI- my RX for Sativex last year was also NOT COVERED by BC Pharmacare., they told me it was of NO BENEFIT for me.

so for Ms in conclusion,, with my needs specifically,, i would have a list with only this-

NO SATIVAS!!!! Indicas Only!!!!!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nirvana papaya: really helps chronic insomnia esp kief in cooking...

Nirvana White Rhino: eases some chronic pain and assisted with hunger issues through chemo

Female Seeds Grapefruit: Great for depression but not so good for anxiety issues.

Nirvana White Widow: Found to be good for depression and lessens anxiety (again personal opinion here)

Nirvana northen light x big bud: Good for moderate pain and late picked found to give a relaxing buzz...good for stress through pain, anxiety and long term chemo fatigue.

thats fantastic I can get bluemoonshine from a pal..... I would Imagen that you would need loads of amber tricombs as the early samples I tried gave some anxiety as it was very cerebral mabey picked at 8 weeks..... I think I need to have a smoking brake if I keep feeling like this,,,, I just hope I will be able to continue smoking as that would shatter what I love to smoke.....

p.s isnt thc phycotic chemical and cbn an anti-phycotic drug......

I was thinkin if that you been smoking early but bud that it might have something to do with the imbalance of that..... just a thourt needing more amber tricombs

When to harvest your trichomes
There are several schools of thought as to when it is the time to harvest. I shall attempt to explain how you can determine the harvesting time that will produce the most favorable psychoactive effect for your individual preferences.

We are most concerned with the capitate-stalked trichomes, as these contain the overwhelming majority of the psychoactive cannabinoids (THC, THCV, CBN). Different cannabinoids affect the high in a multifaceted manner.

THC:
delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol & delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol - THC mimics the action of anandamide, a neurotransmitter produced naturally in the body, which binds with the cannabinoid receptors in the brain to produce the ‘high’ associated with marijuana. THC possesses high UV-B (280-315 nm) absorption properties.

THCV:
tetrahydrocannabivarin - prevalent in certain South African and Southeast Asian strains of cannabis. It is said to produce a ‘clearer high’ & seems to possess many of the therapeutic properties of THC.

CBD:
cannabidiol - previously believed to be psychoactive, or to contribute to the high by interacting with other cannabinoids, conversely the most recent research indicates that CBD has negligible effect on the high, it is however a strong anti-inflammatory, and may take the edge off some THC effects, such as anxiety. CBD as a non-psychoactive cannabinoid appears to be helpful for many medical conditions. CBD biosynthesizes into cannabinol (CBN) & tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

CBN:
cannabinol - a degradation product of THC, produces a depressant effect, ‘fuzzy’ forehead.

CBC:
cannabichromene - non-psychoactive , a precursor to THC.

CBG:
cannabigerol - non-psychoactive, hemp strains often posses elevated levels of CBG while possessing only trace amounts of THC.

Nutrition Therapy for Anxiety Disorders Page 1 of 2
It is well-known that certain foods and substances tend to create additional stress and anxiety, while others promote a calmer and steadier mood. Certain natural substances have a direct calming effect and others are known to have an antidepressant effect.
Stimulants

Caffeine – coffee, tea, alcohol, coke stimulate an adrenal response in your body, which can provoke anxiety, nervousness and insomnia to name a few side effects. They also deplete the body of necessary vitamins and minerals that help balance our mood and nervous system. Recommended dosage – less than 100mg per day (one cup of percolated coffee or two diet cola beverages per day. Less than 50mg per day is preferable.
Nicotine – this is as strong as caffeine – it stimulates increased physiological arousal, vasoconstriction and makes your heart work harder. Smokers tend to be more anxious than non-smokers and tend to sleep less well than non-smokers.
Stimulant Drugs – beware of prescription drugs that contain caffeine and amphetamines, and recreational drugs such as cocaine that increase levels of anxiety and panic attacks in people using them. No Iframes
Salt

Salt depletes the body of potassium, a mineral important to the proper functioning of the nervous system. Salt raises blood pressure that in turn puts a strain on the heart and arteries and hastens arteriolosclerosis. Recommended dosage – do not excess 1gm of salt per day.
Preservatives

There are over 5000 chemical additives in commercial food processing. Our bodies are not equipped to handle these, and little is known about long term biological effects. Try and eat whole unprocessed foods as much as possible. Try to purchase vegetables and fruit that haven't been treated with pesticides (organically grown).
Hormones in Meat

Most commercially forms of meat have been fed hormones to promote fast weight gain and growth. One hormone diethylstilbestrol (DES) has been implicated in the development of breast cancer and fibroid tumors. Try to replace red meat, pork and poultry with organically raised beef, poultry and fish such as cod, salmon, snapper, sole, trout.
Sweet, refined foods

Reduce intake of sweet refined foods as these affect the blood sugar that can lead to anxiety and mood swings while also affecting how the brain functions.
MSG

MSG from Chinese takeaway should be avoided as it can have a major irritating effect on the nervous system producing the following: headaches, tingling, numbness and chest pains.
Drink Soda Water

Soda water increases the levels of carbon dioxide that helps the body to become balanced when someone is hyperventilating. Soda water also decreases smooth muscle contractions and dilates blood vessels, which allows blood to flow easily around the body.
Food Allergies

Be aware to check for food allergies as they can be one of the main causes of many emotional problems.
Food to eat to reduce anxiety and maintain calm state

  • Wholegrain cereals
  • Asparagus
  • Garlic
  • Eggs
  • Fish
  • Molasses

  • Wheat germ
  • Brewers yeast
  • Carrots
  • Onions
  • Beetroot

  • Spinach
  • Paw paw
  • Celery
  • Stone fruit
  • Avocado
Stressful Eating Habits

Stress and anxiety can be aggravated not only by what you eat, but the way you eat. Any of the following habits can aggravate your daily level of stress:

  • Eating too fast or on the run
  • Not chewing food at least 15-20 times per mouthful
  • Eating too much to the point of feeling stuffed or bloated
  • Drinking too much fluid with a meal which can dilute stomach acid and digestive enzymes (one cup with a meal is sufficient)
These behaviours put strain on your stomach and intestines in their attempt to properly digest and assimilate food. This increases stress in two ways:

  • Directly through indigestion, bloating, and cramping
  • Indirectly through malabsorption of essential nutrients

Nutrients

There are specific nutrients which can decrease anxiety. These include:
Magnesium aids with muscle relaxation, maintenance of the heart muscle, neuromuscular transmission and widening of the blood vessels. A deficiency of magnesium can cause

  • Agitation
  • Anxiety
  • Behavioral disturbances
  • Confusion
  • Cold hands and feet
  • Depression
  • Insomnia
  • Restlessness
B Complex Vitamins these are the spark plugs for our body. They help provide energy by acting with enzymes to convert major nutrients such as carbohydrates to energy forms. They are important for the normal function of the nervous system and are helpful in bringing relaxation or energy to individuals who are stressed or fatigued. A deficiency of certain B vitamins will cause:

  • Fatigue
  • Irritability
  • Nervousness
  • Depression
  • Insomnia
  • Loss of appetite
Calcium works with maintenance of electrolyte balance, muscle contractions, nerve transmission, regulation of cell division, hormone secretion and bone and teeth formation. A deficiency can cause:

  • Agitation
  • Depression
  • Heart palpitations
  • Insomnia
  • Irritability

I know that therapists use controlled exposure to treat panic attacks and anxiety successfully. You have to begin by finding the trigger(s) that sets things in motion. Then slowly expose yourself to the trigger in small intervals and rate your anxiety. Over time you will recognize that the trigger is having a diminished effect until it no longers causer the feelings of fear/dread/anxiety.

thank you 001 for all your usefull information. i have suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for a large part of my life and this wealth of information has given a little insight. endless thanks. rep+
