It appears to be from immune overreaction and blood clotting, I figure it will largely be addressed with evolving treatment protocols and available drugs that specifically target inflammation and clotting. Hopefully this effect will be greatly diminished with drug treatments, in wealthier countries at least. From micro clots in the lungs, to covid toes, kidney damage and even some of the problems kids are having appear to be related to these effects of the virus. Blood thinners alone over doubled the survival rate of those on ventilators, and the clotting and immune overreaction are related, this seems to be what is killing most folks.![]()
