Lookin really good how does it smell?

I have 7 different plants in the same room so the smell is getting pretty wild.

the sweat helmet is starting to get a fruity cream smell. Which is better than the musky smell I was getting earlier in flower.

bubbakush is more subtle. It’s got a gas/earthy vibe with a lovely grape undertone.

the strawberry banana has been an overall pleasure to grow. It smells like strawberry and ugh… bananas. As it ripens up it’s getting a little more funky but I’m really excited to taste this one.

Not pictured:

strawberry Akiel - smells like fruit punch. Very fragrant.

Dreamberry - smells like grass cuttings. Not a fan. It came from seed so maybe it’s just a crappy pheno or I messed it up. I have cuttings of it but i don’t know if I want to run it again.

giesel- smells like straight up diesel. Unfortunately it seems like a low yielder but that’s okay if the smoke is nice.

HP24- pine and lemon all day. Such a potent aroma. This is a tester plant- so far it looks chunky as hell but I found a few nanners on it so i don’t know if it’s a stable cut. I ran my room temp high so I suspect it didn’t like that as much.

You should definitely give a smoke report when they are finished they all sound tasty

the Bubbakush will go into my wine fridge dryer since it’s begging to be cut down first. The rest will stay in the flower room and be hung dry since that room is temperature controlled.

I’m trying to decide on how much I want to dry vs how much I want I freeze for bubble hash. I’m picking up a little 3.5Cu freezer so I have more freezer space. I’m new to hash making and never tried fresh frozen.

Are you putting it in the fridge for hash or to preserve it? Also I haven’t tried making hash yet I need to learn how lol. My first and current grow is almost done the 2 smallest ones will probably be done this weekend but I’m going to let all 3 go until the weekend after. Then dry so the Perfect Christmas present to me n the other half lol

So to make fresh frozen hash you chop your plant and freeze it. Then you process it once it’s frozen. I would google frenchy cannoli and watch his YouTube workshop series. That is the best hash making resource I’ve found.

That’s pretty similar timing for when I’m chopping my plants. Congrats on the first harvest!

Alright alright, I’ve been busy lately and haven’t updated this. I have successfully completed my harvest and everything is now curing.

I don’t enjoy photography so just take my word on it- it’s even better than it looks. Here are the picture of the fruit of my labor:

I like the way the foxtails look on the bud. Is it not good to have?

It depends on who you ask. Foxtails can be a sign of heat and/or light stress. I thought they looked kind of cool too. They smoke fine.
