nice i got the Russian rocket fuel to, it my first time with autos, the idea of having a harvest in june/july is awsome. lol im almost out of smoke from last season so a harvest in a couple months from now sounds sweat.
you will have to let me know how it turns out for you. I got reg seeds cuz i want to cross the best looking male with the best looking female and save some seeds for later.

Just checking in from the Northern Tier. I just found this Pa. growers thread and figured I'd check it out. I'm getting ready to start my clones off in the greenhouse with my garden veggies b-4 moving to he ground whenever it gets warm enough in the mountains here. Growing some white widow, and two cheese varieties, and waiting on some other strains my guy says i'll love, lol. Will check back often and post some pics once things start progressing. Good luck with your grows everyone.

Thats cool. I had mine out the first week of June last year but i totally believe an earlier start was within grasp. Im roughly SE in the state so things usually heat up here a bit more quickly. But hey if cindode mayo rolls around and its too cold it wont hurt me to wait.

I put my plants out last year in 2 phases. The first group went out 1st week of May and the second group went out last week of May. When it was all said and done, they yielded about the same. There were 2 nights of high 20's a few days after I put the first batch out that had me a little nervous but they survived unharmed. Depending on what the 10 day forcast looks like, I'm thinking 2nd week of May at the earliest. In the end, I don't think an extra week or two is going to make that much of a difference.

Whats up Pa. Got a camp up in the northern tier and I'm going up there for the summer with some hash plant and some viking ( an old Positronics offering that you can't get any more). Was up there this last week and it snowed like 4ins. Last year took some clones that were fresh rooted and put them straight to flower under a 1000 watter for 3weeks then put them outside in June in 3 gallon pots. They finished the 3rd week of August. Averaged about 3ozs. a pot. Even thou I've never seen another person up there in all the years i've been going there my balls were feeling squeezed as they were in the yard the whole time. Anyhow you all should try this but from what I understand it will only work with Indica dominate plants.

Not bad advice biker. Not a bad yield either considering the size of pots and how early they finished. Seems interesting enough to try with 1-2 plants after the others are safely outdoors. Thanks for sharing the experience.

Hey Greenthumb, I got the idea from an article that I read by Jorge Cervante. Im'm no real grower as I spend to much time treating my M.A.D. diease( Motorcycle Attention Disorder), Sort of caught the bug when I had some down time after an accident that kept me from riding for awhile. This year I'm planning on spending the whole summer up there and growing full size plants. But my old ass is dreading the thought of humping up and down those hills up in that neck of the woods. When I was looking for strains to grow I thought that indica types would be better for the area seeing as winter seems to come on early up that way. The Viking comes from a friend who has been growing it for years and from the Attitude i now have some cali hash plant, sweet tooth, and some auto's vertigo,Pandora, and auto ak 47. Wondering what everyone thinks on my choices.

Sweet tooth is a good choice, did you select it from Barney's Farm or BC Bud Depot? I was very interested in running some sweet tooth this year but so far it doesnt look like that plan is going to come through, just the same old Himalayan Gold & Big Bang from last year. Cali Hash is known to fair pretty well outdoors. I dont have any experience with autos so cant help ya there. I do agree the northern tier tastes winter much sooner than most of the state, the farthest north I have growing in PA is around Williamsport area and those Octobers get cold very fast so keeping it Indica is a great idea. Currently I'm down in the Schuykill/Berks area with my grows. Looking forward to seeing your grow if you post some pictures!

I was thinking about trying something similar with a few plants this year. I figured if I have them in flower for a few weeks then put them out in mid July when the days are already getting shorter they can finish late August. Didn't know it would work as early as you did it.

well I wish I was further along than I am now but I have had to put extra $ out to fix my truck that I wasn't planning on. I finally got my box hooked up for the most part. Got a line ran for my light, I will try to get a small fan in there in the next day or 2. I am pretty excited though. I planted 34 seeds and so far I think every one of them has popped and is breaking the surface of the peat and coco pellets I germinated them in. I know this is a pretty touchy stage and I need to keep a close eye on them for the next week or 2 so I don't lose any of them. I am really hoping they all do well. The more plants I have to put out, the better chance I have of achieving my harvest goals. if I get 30 plants out I will be just fine if I only geet 2 oz off each one. if I only put out 15 then I need to get closer to 4 oz off each one to yeild what I am hoping for.

Hey there sonar, I think you were the one that suggested the Sweet Seeds (Green Poison) to me. Well I checked them out and they sound like they are likely to be on my grow list for next year. I am also strongly considering the Sweet Seeds (Sweet Afgani Delicious S1). they both sound like strains I would be looking for. Have you grown any of the Sweet Seeds strains before? what was your experience like if you did?

Well guys the article that I read on early flowering said to start flowering them indoors and then when they are in full flower to put them out and that they would continue to flower for about 8 more weeks before they finished regardless of the length of day as long as it was an Idica dominate strain. The Viking that I did last year was put out the 1st. of June and didn't finish till third week of august which makes it about 11 weeks. the Sweet Tooth I have is from Bc Bud Depot. The only seeds that I have started so far are the Viking, but hopefully I'll get my shit together and get the rest going tomorrow. When I did the early flower thing with the Viking last year I put out 41 plants and ended up with over 7 lbs. and like a dumb ass gave most of it away and just last week had to spend like 300 so that I had shit to smoke for myself won't do that again. I was also wondering what every one thought of the Cali Hash Plant I've heard that it was good yielder with a good stone
