Ozone in the grow room?

I was lucky as my basement was unfinished so when I finished my basement (I did it all myself), I just hooked into the exhaust that was already there. Then dry-walled the ceiling over it covering everything. I know some people who have hooked into a fireplace by knocking out a few bricks and plugging right into it. Hot exhaust air will always go upwards. Another friend tied into a duct that ran thru a pipe out the roof. You have to be creative sometimes and think out all your options.
I'll probably just tee into the bathroom fart fans exhaust to the roof, or into one that gets installed for the range. I'll probably just put the portable AC into that so it's exhaust can exit out the roof. For the lights I'm thinking of putting them into a cool tube and in a series and then pull in and push back air from the attic. Then the carbon filter can polish the AC'ed air. I'd love to have a basement...let me guess you have water and a drain there to? :) how convenient that would make things for me.

I use a small Honeywell air purifier in the garage for smoke when I burn in the garage (grow room) it said no ozone on the website but people claim creates ozone. One of my plants has some rusty spots on the leaves and I see it on other. I run the fan 24/7 though, I'm considering doing it for 10 minutes every hour after reading this post.

Currently right now I'm doing a 2 min on and 20 minute off cycle in the room. The door is open as I've already stated for other reasons so this helps to dissipate the ozone. It's helped tremendously, when the generator comes on and I'm in the grow room I can smell it...it has that tale tale metallic smell. But, once it goes off the room does not have any ozone smell in about 1/2 minutes. The room smells cleaner as does the rest of the house. I also built me a ONA bucket for the living room which helps and gives the living room just a hint of fresh linen so it's not over compensating but just slightly refreshing.

I use negative ions in the grow room. They boost night cycle recovery by augmenting clean oxygen, they kill smell too.

I was told by a medical commercial bloke that ozone kills thc levels, but negative ions are the inbetween choice which actually help plants grow, they make em hardware more resilient to breakdown, and keep mould and such at bay. I use one of these carbon brush head emitters due to their high output and low wattage (note they produce stem elongation, and much thicker trunk and stems):

I personally recommend these units in the grow room, they cut down on smell and make everything more natural. if you make some COB led units you could double these units to a fan power supply or something, you know? I personally believe EM solutions are the way/

I also got this mad clean fresh cool feeling taste from blue dream growing them, they stayed really bushy and green too; here's a photo of a high negative ion grow for your reference: SOG blue dream 600w adjusted spectrum growlush bulb:

also here's another photo of what happens with neg ions; you get swelling at the nodes, which is a scientifically documented effect I read before doing it, and yeah it's true. check out near the stem

edit; I under-fertilized on this occasion also, but it was the best weed I ever had
