Overwatering question

So as far as I’m aware the only reason you can overwater is that you starve the roots of oxygen.

This is why you can grow hydro/DWC because the water is oxygenated.

So my question is can you overwater soil if the water/medium is oxygenated enough?

What about the other problems overwatering soil can cause like insect ,.mold/fungus issues. Ive never found a need to aerate my pots. If it drains water good then it aerates sufficient imo.

Soil roots have a different morphology than water roots. if you’re going to grow in soil, you’re better off learning how to water.
