Over watering

Hi all

I’ve just been to check on the 2 plants after I watered them around 3 hours ago and both plants and showing dropping leaves and after a quick google search everything is pointing towards being over watered.The last watering before today was approx 5 days ago and with the heat today looked like they might enjoy a good watering….
2lt water
30 litre pots
Grow x 4ml
Bloom x5ml
Top max x3ml

How long before they bounce back. See pics below

Drainage in those garbage cans? Get the drill and a big bit.

There not garbage cans just massive pots. They already had drainage holes but I added more.

best to water less more often than more less often.

if the pot is heavy its overwatered. I wait until they get airy, light, super dry then water them it 1/4 of what you'd think would wet the entire pot...

I’m thinking the problem might be that the pots are 30 litres and takes a long time to dry out. I’ve only used 2 litres twice in the full grow. Il go back to using 1lt of water but the soil in general does take a long time to dry out sometimes 6 days. John innes mix with perlite. How long does it normally take after over watering for them to bounce back ? Thanks

6 days is a lot. it should be dry every day or other day...

From the first pic the media looks very dense. The perlite has mostly floated to the top.

Get a bbq skewer and stab 10-20 holes. This’ll loosen the media and help it dry out faster.

next time more perlite is needed. I’d be tempted to go 30% with that mix. Looks dense as fuck
