Over-watering issue solved?

Thats awesome man, we need more people like you to help more ppl like me, lol. This will be my third grow so far, first one never got to flower because of location problem. So when I finally got another chance last year I went for it. My buddy and I went in on a crop of M39 together. That crop did pretty well, but wasnt very impressive in potency. Anyhow, that location is now also lost to us, so Im just trying to keep some personal smoke on hand, as well as breed nice genetics for possible future crops!

Where do you order your seeds from? Nirvana?

I order seeds through Attitude.. I have a affiliate account and just pay myself to order through myself! I composed a list of my favorite strains for another thread, I have a mother plant which is a Serious Seeds AK47 Cherry Pheno.. Its a 1/10,000 chance when ordering seeds, i got it from a clone at my dispensary.. i crossed that with my other favorite strains listed below and some noteworthys.

Paradise Seeds - White Berry****
Dutch Passion - Blueberry****
Sensi Seeds - Super Silver Haze#9
G13 - White Widow
WoS - Durban Poison
WoS - Ketama
Bulldog - Bulldog Haze (Smoked it at the Cafe, Never try the seeds)
Nirvana - Ice****
Nirvana - Blue Mystic
Barneys - Tangerine Dream (Read good reviews and bad.. Im sure if i order enough seeds ill get a good stable mother)

I am also going to Amsterdam for 4/20 so i will go to barneys and smoke Tangerine Dream and write a good review.

Wicked awesome, Im looking at their site now, they have some good deals. Was thinking about a white widaow for a potential mother strain...

White Widow, Northern Lights, Big Bud, Skunk #1, Super Silver Haze, AK47, AK48, However my favorite mother Paradise Seeds "White Berry" (White Widow X DJ Short Blueberry) are all quite lovely mother plants, Very stabilized! Its all about you then again man, Follow your instinct with strains. Just always remember the label as read on the site is never really accurate. Yield, potency is hyped up.... Always check this site too and follow the heritage before breeding, A strain with a heritage of Afghanistan or whatever should be on the hot and humid side for instance.. you can also experiment with different light cycles. i mimic sun positions by rising, lowering and sliding my light right or left.

Good idea about the mimicking the suns movement/position.

I just found out that there is another seed shop locally that resells seeds in orig. breeders packaging, even though theyre more expensive, theres much less hassle with ordering and waiting and paying for shipping (attitude wants 13.50 for int. shipping) but I must say that prices at attitude werent too bad at all!

I may swing by the local place tomorrow to see what theyve got...

I used to smoke some really great bud called Western Chemo, apparently it was a cross of Winnipeg Wheelchair Weed (WWW) and a Chemo male. It was wicked killer stuff, smelled pine like and was always uber well cured! My hats off to the guy who grows/grew it. I wish I could get my hands on it. Searched and searched to no avail...

Local seeds that's tight! its easy to obtain dank clones in LA. I did purchase a lot of seeds and start them from seed, i only have 1 mother from a dispensary. I have other seeds to backup my sash which is always beautiful! The wheelchair weed was probably just some White widow renamed. Hince the WW+W. Theres only about 1,000 something strains, and ive probably read about it unless it was a local hybrid.

Im thinking it was probably local. I have no clue as to its heritage, but highly suspect you may be right, in either case, I certainly have something to strive for! If I can recreate something even close to what that was, then dry and cure properly ( i heard teh guy who was growing it cured for 6 weeks) then Ill be in business! If I do manage to do it one day, ill send you a few of the feminised and stabilized final seeds so you can have a taste too! ;)

Hell yeah thats the truth... From what you just mentioned, I would suggest a White Widow X G13 Hybrid super stable, you will be stoned for weeks or potentially years at the time.

I found out the genetic parents fior the 2 strains that I'm growing:

Wonder Woman - Sour Diesel X White Widow

Herer Borealis - Jack Herer X Northern Lights #5

Breeder's name is Deranged Healing (local brand with which I am pretty satisfied) although their seeds dont seem to be available anywhere online!

If I'm lucky and get 1 M and 1 F of each, them maybe ill cross these two hybrids! I can imagine the Jack + WW lineage would give the buzz some real kick.

Will the most stable hermie seedlings not also have hermie traits to some extent? Ive heard this debated quite a bit on the forums and I am not sure what conclusion is right. Altho the "good" male pollen genetics from a known stable plant should certainly offset the effect.

Any ideas?
Definition of Heterosis :

When the heterozygotes in a population have a higher fitness than the homozygotes (such as they grow better, are better able to survive, and/or are more fertile than the homozygotes). Examples are some plants that do better when cross-pollinated than when self-pollinated. The effect of heterosis can apply to hybrids (see hybrid vigor).

Defenition taken from everythingbio.com

And that would be it!

Yep.. good find. Some hermies are sterile and some arent, Hermies can be used beautifully. I suggest breed for quality first then stabilize. if you spend alot of stabilizing something you dont like to smoke it wont be worth it! Ive had a hermie mature in my flower room for the entire harvest. Never released male pollen because its not strong enough, once it goes into producing seeds. Thats what the plants main focus is, no the bud or foilage color, JUST THE SEEDS! Feminized seeds made from the stressed hermie become quite abuse able. Sometimes i dont water my plants for a week or a little more. Have you ever planted bagseed? Sometimes theres a higher chance of fems cause the plants were hermes + my other femization shit.. looking at like 70-75% Females.

Hello everyone! :)

Just to update anyone who's interested, my overwatering problem has been solved!

As of 3 days ago I watered them for the first time since I aerated the soil, and today was their 1st feeding (1/2 strength). My babies are looking great!

Many thanks to all who have shared info on this site! You make it possible for anyone to grow a great crop!

Also just got 2 beautiful clones from a buddy. When I took off the humidity dome to mist, I saw roots! Yay!

Wish me luck, as Im doing for you all!
