i over watered my plant earlier is it ok to put my pot on a radiator or something that will dry the soil up a bit?

the heat might be a issue, you can not overwater by say putting 6000 galllons of water in your pot.

it happens because you want to water every day. let them dry. you need to get more oxygen to your roots and fast

NO! You will cook the plant in minutes.

Like ABS said, let it dry back, perhaps until the pot of soil weighs about 1/3 of just-watered (and drained) weight.

Overwatering damage is indeed not caused by a single event of flooding the soil or media but by frequently saturating the soil and driving out all the oxygen. As long as there are working drain holes in the bottom of the pot, you could theoretically put 6000gal of water on your plant, provided you didn't wash away all the soil!

If the water can drain out, it'll all be well.
