What's on my mind is the needless death of kids,
Not your hundred million strong marine wannabees
Like I said I was not born here so I should have checked the Cumbria stats properly so I will take that,
Guns need to be away from lunatics. .
Can we agree on that ?

I think that comparing these numbers between America and any other country is ridiculous. Americans are fucked up and stupid, in general. I would fully expect that America would lead the way in all of these categories. The result of taking guns away would be.....STILL leading the world!

YEAH AMERICA!
Everyone now! "Oh say can you see..."
Kelly4, i dont really get what you mean on your post, will you please explain a little better, are you a anti-american living in the US? or did i just take it the wrong way, I'm not sure, you know how americans are generally stupid..

how about every person who purchases a gun in the united states (pistol, rifle, black powder) is required to buy a channel lock. (am i using the right term?) the lock thats like a bike lock. the more gun locks out in the public the better.

Almost all newly purchased guns come with them already.

lol nevermind

now that you say that your right. I worked at dicks sporting goods for 3 months. Assholes put me in the guns section after i told them numerous times that i didn't know enough about guns to sell them. But i do remember seeing those locks in the cardboard boxes the rifles were in. I quit after not getting moved into fishing.

why does it have to be 100%? anything would help with respect to preventing or mitigating these types of tragedies.
I only say 100% so that no debates/arguments ensue on whether the means of prevention/mitigation are effective/efficient.

In reality, I'm with you, and any prevention/mitigation effort without having to give up freedoms/liberties is something I would seek.
In the end, it really just ends sadly because it is humans who are vile and corrupt, not guns. Take away that particular tool, and being an innovative species, it is inevitable another will be used

I was very high at the time and don't really know what my point was. LOL!
