hey i just need some advice/help. my grow room in the shed down the garden got busted by my mates dad suddenly turning up. we needed to move the grow room so if he went to ivestigate when we were gone he would find nothing.

so we moved the plants into a bin outside and put the lights in (2 envirolites) and coverend it with a waterproof sheet, so now we have a sort of indoor outside grow going on.

only problem is i'm in the UK and even if its the summer it somtimes gets cold at night, what i wanna know is if it gets too cold and how cold marijuana plants can get before they properly suffer.

any hepl welcome, i just need to know if it's vital that i move them inside somwhere.

Hi, as growing/cultivating cannabis is illegal in the Uk whatever your age I too do not see the relevance of your age to your question.
Therefore my answer is as follows.

I too am growing in UK north of 53degs Lattitude and have a very similar setup to you, I have 5 plants under 2 x 125watt 6400k envirolites which are located in my garage they have been no problem with the cold at night at all even over the last couple of weeks when night temps were as low as 4degs!! Last night I left out my other 4 plants which were always going to be outside plants anyway and they all seem fine this morning, that is just in their pots no cover apart from shelter from surrounding bushes and a fence. I think you will find that the heat although not too hot from your envirolite will be more than enough to keep your dustbin warm overnight, you may want to watch them in the day if they are in direct sight of the sun then you could possibly charbroil your plants.

So in essence from now till end of september you should be good to go, just keep an eye on the weather and if any freak cold spells come then maybe tuck them up in a blanket.

Good luck & don't get caught!!!

All the best

you put a light outside?.... is there no sun where you are. or did you just want to spotlight your grow at night?
 good luck with that...
