I always ph'd to 6.3, but I don't think I had to. I never actually used pro-mix, I used aa mix that's exactly like sunshine mix #4, called pro-gro. I said pro-mix to make it simple. lol
I used cal-mag too because Max Sea has none.
what formulas you use? grow and bloom i suppose. did you just switch from veg too bloom nutes or mix them gradually? as far as cal mag I think i will put dolo lime in the pro mix next year. lol sorry just trying to get some info out of you lol.

Yes, I used the grow, and bloom. I used it half, and half for the first few weeks of flower, and worked my way down to just bloom, and mollasses. My mix had lime in it, but I figured it would wear out after a while so I used the cal mag every other feed.
Next year I would rather be able to just water my plants.

That sucks man! I think im gonna prep next years holes this fall before the ground freezes. Im thinking about just throwing manure, blood meal, and chopped fish in native soil and mixing it good
I'll be doing the same pretty much, but I'm also going to have auto's in pots that I will use the Max sea nutes on I think. I've started looking for strains for next year already.

Im gonna pay closer attention on the next strain. I want something extremely mold resistant! Im starting to think you cant avoid powder mildew 100% in a gorilla crop but any edge will help.

Heavy rain just started here, and the winds are supposed to get strong tonight as well. I went back last night and added a bit more support for my biggest plant, and sprayed them all with Actinovate. After tonight the weather looks good up until October 2 which is the first day of my vacation. I'll be chopping my Crazy Miss Hyde, and a couple smaller plants at that time, because there is still people out looking for plants, and October first there will be a lot more hunters out.

This is my Crazy Miss Hyde, she's 7 feet tall, and 7 feet wide, but I got her spread out a bit.

I'll be feeding, and spraying with Actinovate next year. I just got it a couple weeks a go, but I think it works good because I haven't got much mold at all... maybe a couple grams so far. It's pouring out right now so when it stops I have to go back and spray again, lol but it's great for morning dew/humidity.

Thanks man!
I hope she puts on some weight soon, and stays hidden for couple more weeks. lol

Oh yeah... she smells just like the C99 I grew in my closet. lol Tropical fruit, and it's quite strong. lol

Chopped the last of my girls the other day. Colas were huge on this plant and once it's all dried and cured I'm thinking it should be a pounder without question.

It was a good year, but I'm always looking to improve
Congratz on a good year! Nice plant for sure!

Im hoping I get enough to last till this time next year, LOL but I lost a lot when they took the tops off my other two plants.
I'm not sure what OD clones are, I hate to say. lol

as soon as cut season is done and over...I am already prepping my greenhouse and outside areas for next year...cant wait till next year..lol...love growing outdoors..to me good outdoor bud tastes alot better than indoors..why i stopped growing indoors...only good thing with indoors you have more control of everything...temps..humidity...constant regulated light source...less insect worries unless you get the borg inside...

sorry, to hear this, at least it wont be a dry run. btw, these pounds are you giving a number prior to the 70 percent thang? really, though
look into streptomyceces this is a very tenacious microbe that lives off of material on the plant, and it especially loves mold. I use
great white shark for roots plus roots excelurator, crazy insane growth; the gws has streptomyceces in it but you want the real
aggressive strain that loves mold, leaf septoria, etc; ... i wish you the best, im the one who needs advice, someone instead of
ripping my plants tried to make it look like an animal did the damage, not to mention the deer (the deer actually did me a favor,
i may post a pic of this, its one for the history books), anyway this goofy hater left me enough to keep going, we will see but
i dont want to give riu users the impression all is well, cuz its not the case; i just want this year to end to put it mildly...lets just
say i would trade your problems for mine...mold r u serious? im guerilla too...

that is some killer gear you are bringing up, you have gotts to take precaution, those are some expensive beans... im working
my own "anthocyanin" strain, plus fire99 (fire og x c99), and some bag LG (lime green)...distance to goa 10.7.14, we will seen.
stay up broski!

btw, we are on the same parallel and yes it was cloudy and humid for several days starting on the 9.9.14 and then the temp
went down to 40 degrees; when i just discovered the tools that i now use to handle boytris, it was because i had left my
babies in the shade and then came confection flow, sugary looking mold it ran from the leaves to the bud. i thought it was
a goner, i quickly went home mixed up the following : actinovate, azamax, and something else...in short, it chewed the
"shite" out of this plague, to point I was totally miffed as to if there was ever any on the plant. true story, dont despair
if you catch it in time there is hope, i mean this stuff rocks man. you know the pathogens are coming, especially if you
grow in the same area or near hops.
i been reading up on the actinovate it appers to be great stuff just like greencure..im gonna use a combo of sprays next year starting very early on and defo hit them good on week 1 of flowering..i got my delahaze and berry bomb still out they are on week 8 of flowering and according to the weather man it suppose to be sunny and no rain for next 7 days..the last 5 days have been beautiful and humidity has been down so alot less mositure in the air but i hit the delahaze and berry bomb with the greencure anyways and they look great..here is a pic of the delahaze at week 7 they are starting to fatten up nicely..gonna leave it to go 10 weeks as long as the weather permits me to do so..003.JPG 008.JPG 009.JPG 011.JPG 002.JPG

lol ya man i already got me 3 new holes to dig in another great spot..they hit this spot from 8am till around 5pm right now so in the summer time it will get even more sun..i have already spent 450$ on seeds and im gonna need more(well not really but i like extra lol)..i keep finding good strains from u guys here in this thread..so thankful to all u fellas and whoever posts and made this thread..i love outdoor growing its just so much fun and rewarding..im looking forward more to next season then i was this season now that i know what to do for mold prevention..i already got greencure, liquid copper and neem oil but im also gonna get some actiovate and 3-1 spray from safer-it is a sulfur base spray bc i read somewhere that mold will build a resistance to the stuff if we use it year after year and use same spots..i use a few spots bc im a guerilla grower and i like to change them around anyways bc im always on the hunt for a more sunny spot lol

actinovite is good....you can water it in or spray it on..its a systemic fungus treatment...Greencure is good for PM..Copper is good for veg and first 2 weeks of flower at the most...it can leave a taste in your bud if you use it late in flower..same with sulphur...but they are not a cure all for bud root..a small preventive at most...they work great for PM tho...to me silica watered in weekly is the best preventive or even foliar sprayed on..it builds up strong plant cells so mold can't get hold...still not a cure all...

yea i know its not a cure all but anything i can put in my arsenal to give me a extra few weeks to flower i will try it..i have read many places that everthing we spoke about is best as a preventive measure..before i just put my plants out guerilla style and hoped for a good fall..what im gonna try next year is all outdoor mold resistant and then use some sprays and get it on the leaves and stems around week 1 of flower and then again at 3 weeks and hopfully they will not get mold at all

water the actinovite in...works better that way....it goes into the plant cells...dont skimp on the pro tek either...that works well as a foliar to prevent mold...and also water it in

I use Silica Blast (which is the same as Pro Tekt) everytime I feed/water. I add it to Neem oil, and Safer's BTK as well.
