outdoors guide or video?

i want to grow next year outdoors so i figured get ready now or at least find out what i need to know. so dose anyone here have a link to a good outdoors guide or video? and a chart that lets me know if my US state is good to grow in. thanks.

you're gunna need to start Finding a plot
needs to have lots of sunlight, easy to get water too, and away from people
and I use Chicken Wire too keep the animals from eattin the plants
