Outdoor Purple Kush Western Canada HELP

Hey guys alright so i finally found a good forum it looks so. My plant sprouted on June 11th and it has only grown to approximately 5 inches right now, its also on its second set of nodes. It's very healthy and when i planted the seeds i used a N-P-K 15-30-15 and have not used any fertalizer since then. I saw a bit of aphid evidence so i got some wash and insecticde and thats working great, anways.

My question is: Is this very slow for a plant to grow? Im growing it in my backyard so from 5-8 am its not getting any light due to the fence shading it, i have a small backyard. Does it sound like it will have a chance to flower and harvest by september? The weather here has been horrible Hot and raining alot so.

I'm going to try to upload some photo's here and you guys can tell me what u think. Any advice is appreciated im new to this, just second time trying.

She looks good, but do you only have 1? Just wondering cause of male to female ratio.

yea i had 4 but they were garbage seeds and didn't grow well. And i lost one on a transplant from that pot you see there to another, i didn't have one at the time so i poked holes in the bottom of a milk carton filled it up with the soil and planted it, next day it was dead.

How can i test PH and what PH am i looking for?

If you look closely at the top view pic you'll notice another one that just sprouted yesterday. Not sure what i should do with it but.

Cheap PH tester at lowes, i got one, works fine for me, and PH should stay around 6.0 to 6.5, i think, at least that's what mine always stays at, you really dont need one for outdoor growing though.
heres a link to what ive got, just posted these they other day.

More Nitrogen:
That looks too light for Purple Kush. You probably need a bit more Nitrogen to darken it up. Do not let it get too green as Purple Kush is sensitive and will curl the leaves down from excessive Nitrogen. Back off the Nitrogen N when it starts flower and pump up the Phosphorous P and Potasium K. Growing outside sucks and I never do it especially here in B.C. Animals will probably get it (some animals have yellow stripes on their pants), if not the deer or the bugs or the wind or rain or ???. Buy a 1000 MH HID with a timer and move it inside. Change to HPS when you flip. I recommend Advanced Nutrients for here in B.C. as they are local and thus cheaper and probably a better product than most EXCEPT...I think their Nitrogen is too high for Purple Kush and I really would back off on it especially during flowering. I would reduce their recommended PPM by at least 50% for PK or more and then alternate between feed and water (Dutch Method). Add some Epsom Salts (1 tablespoon per 5 gallons) occasionally. Purple Kush is a pure Indica and will grow here much better than a Sativa. Outdoors is just not the same quality as the lumens are too low for this latitude (>49 degrees North). Any Sativa grown about 30 degrees North or below 30 degrees South is considered hemp. The latitude for quality Indica is higher but B.C. is beyond the optimal range. Real B.C. bud is indoors, not outdoors. The NorCal guys can handle it though...The Advanced Nutrients website has a feeding schedule calculator online. DO NOT USE AGGRESSIVE FEEDING on PK. I currently use their 2 part but I will probably switch back to 3 part for more control especially over the N. General Hydronics works well and supposedly FoxFarm but I have never tried FoxFarm. Increase the PPM as the plant size increases.

Reason for the Slow Growth:
They are still seedlings/rooted clones and will become vegetative shortly. Then the pace of growth will speed up significantly. Inside you can use CO2 to enhance growth. PK is very slow to grow but can be pumped up to 1 inch per day but you need CO2 and MH HID. PK finishes very fast at 50 days.

K thanks man that gives me some help. I'm not absolutely positive it is PK because i got a batch of Northern lights, PK, and OG, and a random Kush and got seeds out of the batch i bought. All the seeds were planted. I just remember planting a PK one at the end and i think that is what this is. And no animals will get it and i have insecticide but as of right now i have a 15-30-15 Fertz. Can i just buy a nitrogen fert on it's own? sorry im a bit new. So it is not even in vegetive state yet i didn't know that okay. Out of those buds i named could you identify it any way?

Real PK:
I was only commenting on the colour (should be lusher green) but now that you bring it up: Real Purple Kush is an elite clone only strain. I have the real deal. You can make them using Purple Afghani (female) x Hindu Kush (male) but it will not be the exact same genetics as THE PURPLE KUSH (famous here in the Fraser Valley). Those seeds could be selfed S1 or R1 but again, it is NOT the exact same. S1 (selfed) are considered better than R1 (reversed). Remember that lots of seeds sold are using bogus names.

Nutirient Proportions:
I notice that, in my humble opinion, your nutrients are too high in Phosphorous for vegetative growth. Switch to something like 10-5-10 NPK. You can resume your old nutrients when flowering begins. It appears the Nitrogen, on your formulation is too high for flowering cannabis as well. Get Micro, Bloom, Grow and follow the manufacturers guidelines but reduce the Parts Per Million quite a bit for Purple Kush especially when the plant is small. She's gonna take off soon...
