Outdoor pruning + pest question.

Been searching around online without much success. Im wondering how I should prune my plant now that it is budding. Its probly around week 3 of budding, and I'm wondering if I should let all bud sites grow. Or should I be pruning off some of the lower bud branches that wont yield much in order to let the main buds get better?

Also I am seeing some tiny orange/red mite type things on some leaves, how do I deal with these? Thanks to anyone that helps.

spidermites are a nightmare .. ive had some success with garlic pepper water spray . or dont bug me .. but ive had spidermites once and could not get rid of them too so im sure there is better ways

sb garlic,, hey dude, its bestt to prune at about 18 inches , depending on if you grow outdoors, and the need to keep it low, dont prune when the plant starts budding,,,, I let my plants go over 3 feet and they got to tall for my neighborhood, so I had to prun and then tie down with piipe cleaners and string, so im tring to grow more horizontal than vertical,, just remember to much pruning will shock it

dont remove during flower UNLESS you are in first 2 weeks IMHO....I take clones during weeks one and two of flower to shoot hormones upwards and elsewhere to the plant
