Outdoor Master Kush

This is a small Medical Marijuana grow in Southern California. It is grown on the land of / grown for use by a card carrying medical marijuana patient.I am hoping to learn more and to possibly help others learn by keeping this journal.

First off, some info:

Strain: Master Kush from Nirvana
Soil: A basic organic constant-feed soil.I think it feeds for 60 days. Ph not stated.
Light: Sunlight ( 8 hrs/day full sun - 14.5 hours total sun/day right now )
Water: Distilled Water purchased in 1 gal. bottles. ( Ph ~7.5 )
Temps: About 78-84 F and 55-60F at night.
Humidity: Not sure- seems to be fine
Nutes/Adds: Only a very small amount of ironite and superthrive have been applied.
*Let me know if I left anything out*

So, the story up to this point:

Overall they are fairly healthy. The biggest of the plants is looking a tad yellow
( first thumb )what do you guys think? There is another one which is a close second
in size, but not so yellow ( second thumb ),The rest are much darker green and smaller,
less developed ( third thumb) . I do not undertsand this because they have all been
treated the same in every way. I also had a transplant trainwreck on the 7th one and
I have it in shade/partial sun recovering from shock ( Fourth thumb ). Hopefully it won't
fall too far behind.I noticed some minor blemishes and evidence that something was
nibbling on a couple of the plants a week ago, so I sprayed them all with a neem solution
last night. I will repeat this again in maybe 4 or 5 days.

Overall, they are not growing very fast as far as I can tell.Assuming they are at 37 days now, and still this small I am guessing 3 weeks before the smaller ones are ready for flower- this puts them at almost 60 days of veg

Anyhow any helpful feedback is encouraged! Thanks for looking.

I am going to put the 2 largest plants on a 12/12 schedule by bringing them indoors each day. I'm hoping that this will give the rest of the plants some veg time to catch up in size , as well as allowing me to see if the biggest ones are female of course . If I get a male out of thoose 2 I think I will try to just let it flower and try and save/collect the pollen for later use as seen in fdd's thread " milking my nuts ".

Welcome shame
Make sure theya are in complete darkness for the 12 hrs.

I think your supposed slow growth can be atributed to those pots.
The bigger the pot the longer it takes the roots to reach the outer edges and bottom.
The plant will not grow very much at all until the roots are satisfied.

I agree with adding some nutes of some sort.

I would let them continue vegging for atleast another 2-3 weeks.
You could take clones and flower the clone so you can leave the main plants in veg.
This would allow you to see which are female without putting the whole plant inside.

Happy growing

Thanks for the advice Mid.

Would it be better to maybe leave them in their 16 oz. cups longer than I
did ? I transplanted them all out of cups into these 2 gal. pots a few days
after they broke surface. I Was afraid they would send a tap root down
to fast, so in trying to give the taproot more room I may have jumped the
gun.Maybe next time around Ill give them 2 weeks in the starter cup..

As far as cloning, I have not done it before , but I may decide to do just that.
Kinda nervous I will screw it up tho :dunce: .

Cheers.

Hello. Hopefully someone can answer my question.I am planing on picking up about 20 master kush seeds from nirvana and am doing a guerrilla grow off all the seeds that are fem and survive. So... will probably have alteast 10 master kush plants and am also getting 10 big bud super skunk. Growing all at once for a first time grow. Hopefully going to get a pound or more. Advice? tips? what can you tell me about what this strain likes? also bare minimum I can expect for yield?
