Outdoor Mainlining

3rd year growing. Learned a lot last year and pulled almost 9lbs off from my 2 plants in my back yard grow.

Experimenting this year by mainlining one of my girls. This will also hopefully help me keep her low and wide to avoid the nosey neighbors.

Let me know if anyone has done this with their backyard grows.

I grow about 4-5 nodes and pull the limbs back by green wire and a tomato cage. I just put my plants in a 20G garbage can. Last year sucked but 2 years ago I got 4.5lbs wet off a Black Domina freebie. I had 5 others done the same way and grew between 3-3.5lbs wet. Doing the same this year for training for the 6 plants that just went out yesterday, but hoping for much better weather come near the end. So much mold and wpm on my buds last year, and some seem to stop progressing in flowering. No clones this year, all from seed, more Indica dominate strains and so more earlier finishers for a Southern Ontario harvest

Nice! Last year I did the low stress tie down as well and immediately saw better results than the first year. The 2 gelato I grew from clones produced just under 9lbs dried and trimmed.

I’ve heard great things about mainlining indoor pants so I decided to experiment and try it this year on 2 plants I’m growing outdoor from seed. We’ll see if the extra effort produces more this time around.

I’ll definitely be posting updates!
