Outdoor Kosher Kush

Just a post about my outdoor grow, we have two fem Kosher Kush plants from DNA, plants are looking fire as hell apparently this strain is a 100% indica and both plants are 6ft tall right now slowly going into flower.

growing in Canada, Ontario. Have them on cns17 grow and bloom along with BC grow pebbles and powdered bat guano, also been using epsom salt foiler spray which has been working wonders i believe, RIT isnt allowing me to upload pictures but i'll be sure to throw some in here once it starts working or if anyone could tell me how that would be great.

Alright so here we go, im finally able to upload some pictures of these monster outdoor kosher kush plants

Plant number 1, it's the skinny pale one. I have been using foilar spray on her with epsom salts and shes starting to look a little darker. Today i ran to the store and picked up some BC Grow in like a pebble form and also bought some bat guano. First grow here so please be kind as this man is still learning.


Plant number 2 in my opinion is looking proper its been getting a foilar spray with the Epsom salts and just added the bat quano and bc grow plus all their cns17 nutes. I also have a house rabbit who produces alot of shit so about a month ago i put a good amount of it top dressing each plant.



I'm open up to any advice that you guys have and appreciate all feedback weather good or harsh.

the dark green one or the lighter green one?, these pictures we're taken around 8:30pm so maybe thats why? they looked pretty perky this afternoon when i fed them

It looks like you don't get much sun there. If that's the case then they look pretty good, not stretching too bad. That pale thing is scary. Unless its albino there is something wrong. It seems like you have plenty of nutes, but maybe too much and overfed? Maybe the pebble form bc nutes is staying in the soil and building up? I say look into that. And I think everyone, not just you, should keep some sort of calendar to keep track of feedings.

Well heres a small updated picture of that scary thang, i have just added the BC grow pebbles today so it cant really be that, its been this light in colour almost its whole lifespan outside, looked nice and green before that when i had it inside. I added Bat guano as a topdressing on her today so i'll probably head backdown to check on her in 3-4days time.

Way too pale, the guano will probably help.

Did you slowly introduce it to the sun when you first put it out? If the first few days were hot and sunny it might have burned a bit....Good luck.

Only my 2 cents worth but I wouldn't be putting any kind of fresh shit from animals as a top dresser unless it has sat for a while before hand
I've seen fresh horse shit turn a plant pale and die off before
Not sure what rabbit shit will do

Are you using RO water? If you're using tap water, PH might be high. My tap water measures 9.0.

Plants are sometimes pale when doing outdoor too dark green and nitro tox. One thing you need to keep in mind if you are using tap leave it outside for 2 days and bubble it then ph it to 6.4- 6.7. If your plant is in the ground and you used your own soil mix keep in mind clay soil around it maintains water very well ;if in a pot or bag its a bit different. If you are still in veg might need more nitro . Guano keep in mind is quick acting but also feeds the micro web in your soil, cns 17 dont know much about it but feed once a week see how that works for you, and water once until you get to 4th week of flower see if that works for you

thanks for the quality info man. I just use the water from the stream it looks fairly clean but i've never really ph downed it although come to think of it i should've been doing that, would it be worth to start ph down now or just wait till next season?

Never too late to at least find out what the ph of the stream water is, the soil is gonna buffer it but still

Alright well here's a little update on the plants, i think there has been some good progression on the bright yellow one. Seems to be getting a little darker day in day out, been using bat guano and BC grow pebbles. Still havn't seen anything harmful yet also doing an epsom salt foilage spray.


Here are some pictures of my biggest one, it's a monster compared to the skinny bright green one. This big ol hunk hasnt started flowering nearly as much as "the scary thing"

Not bad for your first attempt man. Also, you should be just fine using stream water. Probably the best water that you can use. Best of luck come harvest time!

Looking better all the time. What did you make your grow boxes from? Those look cool. Next season tie down some of those side limbs and you will get a bigger bush. But looking fine for a first attempt.

The boxes are just some rubbermaid bins, i believe 57L and then bought some camo tape for the sides of them just to cover up the grey. Definitely will try to tie them down next year, do i just drill holes in the side of the bins to be able to tie them down ?

That would work, but if it was me, I would sink them flush with the ground, and just use sticks with a fork in it to stake them down. I always sink my pots. Here is a couple from earlier in the summer. I needed to stake them down more, but most of my Patches are Darwin Dope. They don't get a lot of TLC.
