Outdoor growing

Hello, heres something i found here under the detection section:

"Law enforcement agencies often monitor certain wider areas, particularly areas of countryside with a significant history of outdoor cannabis cultivation. In helicopters, they use infrared cameras and other equipment that can detect cannabis by measuring the heat and reflective signature of the vegetation below. Cannabis has higher reflectivity at certain wavelengths than other rural crops, such as corn. Law enforcement agencies have found that the use of this technology has become necessary in their detection efforts because many growers hide cannabis among other plants, making detection with the naked eye difficult even from the air. These techniques are effective and difficult to defeat because a plant's reflective signature is difficult to change or mask."

Is this true? If someone were looking to grow 20 plants scattered across a field with thick bush would there be anything to do to make the plants not visible?

There has to be some way around this. What if I grew under tree cover or in an area of thick bush. Also, what happens if they do find like four plants growing in an area, do they simply cut them down or would they steak out the area and wait for me to come through?

the cost to have an officer stake out an area is probably extremely high. it wouldnt make sense to go that length for 4-5 plants. now if you were growing say 200-300 plants, yeah, probably. the fine for under 10 plants is like 1,000 dollars. it would cost way more than that to wait for your ass to show up.
