Hello guys,

I have experience growing indoor, few years been doing this. Not a noobie, but still a lot to know! Anyways, i have opportunity to grow outdoor now, but i have a lot questions about this, because it will be my first time.

Could you please tell me:
• do country/region has difference for plant to grow? How long does it take?
• do i need to do soil analysis?
• what is the best strains for outdoor growing?
• do they flip by themselves? (12/12indoors i mean)

anything i need to know please link me to all possible information i need!

Big thanks !!!!

Love

First thing to know about outdoors is that no two grows are ever the same. Nature is a variable out of the outdoor growers control.
Make sure you have room for your girls. They get BIG outdoors, so you have to be aware of that, and what neighbors might think/do. Unless you have acres.
Look up strains that grow best in your climate. Region/country is important only in that you follow sunlight hours where you are.
It's a summer long grow, so be patient and attentive.
They switch naturally, based on strain. I have a indica/sativa hybrid that started flowering two weeks ago. I have a young indica that went in 2 weeks later, and that is just getting to stretch. 13/11 is when they start to pop, but it could be whatever the flower thinks.
Soil is important. Mix some organic fox farm or whatever you like, and I also use big bloom during veg.

Thank you everyone!

Yeah, i have acres, i dont mind about neighbours and etc.

most of the ground is clay, but i will do analysis.

12hours of sun all the time here.

how do you think 1.5m2 / 1tree is enough?

This is my first year and I'm growing in the ground. I prepared a 3 foot diameter circle for each plant (I'll let you do the conversion to metric) and spaced them 6 feet apart. Based on results so far I would double that.

Since clay drains poorly and cannabis doesn't like wet feet, I would dig out the native soil to a depth of at least 1 foot (2 in the center for taproot) and backfill with a good soil mix. I used mostly organic composted cow manure mixed with a little native soil. Add in some perlite or volcanic rock for drainage. Lots of soil recipes online, Google "Subcool's Super Soil" for one good example. Personally I would go organic, learn about "living soil."

Space is important for stretch especially. If the plants are too close together, the sides closest together won't stretch well. You lose some bud sites that way.
