outdoor grow prep.

Hi RIU. I am planning an outdoor grow with some super autos for the summer(lol long way away) and have a remote area with light tree cover and was wondering whens would the best time be to plant in scotland and what sort of soil ammendmenst should i make also was wondering how ressistant weed is to scotlands weather.
For my soil ammendments i was going to use some plain bagged soil, manure, d lime, rock dust, fish blood & bone, compost, some vermiculit and some river silt from build up in my private water supply. please comment and tell me if i am doing this right and advise me on how to better my setup thanks RIU.

well since youre doing autos then they should finish up soon enough to avoid any bad weather.

What is the earliest month it doesnt frost anymore, consistently? As well as the first month it starts getting around 50 degrees consistently.

And do you have the ability to start them indoors?


As for soil amending goes, look up TGA Supersoil. Find a video on youtube or a link on here with the recipe.

Some of the best stuff out there. Just have to water with plain water/rain and maybe some bloom booster at the end of flowering for that extra kick.

Last but not least which strain do you plan on running and what is its recommended seed-harvest time?

ok first of all thanks for input. Im not sure about the frost thing because last march in my area we had 7ft snow drifts and a 2 weak power cut so i think i will start after march to play it safe. I do have t5 which im using on my current grow. I will have a look at the super soil and i will buy some bloom ferts but ill have to get organic as the runnoff will go in to the same stream i get my water from but don't worry its much further up the river at least 2 miles away from the intake so less chance of getting detected and i don't own the land. Lastly im not sure what strain im getting as there was only one super flowering but i might go for northern lights auto from vision seeds on Rhino seeds, if you could suggest a good seed website that would be great. thanks for your time.

As for bloom ferts you can make tea out of the left over raw guanos or bone meals.

Ill look for some links for ya on both super soil and nutrient teas.

lol thats quite alright you have definetly done enough for me chears. I got loads of bagged chicken poop from the my chickens iv heard thats good for making flowering teas. lol thanks again budbro.

Yupp that and some beneficial bacteria/innoculant.

Maybe look up hygrozyme as well. helps with everything and keeps your rhyzosphere nice and happy

The chicken shit will help in the super soil mix but its unknown of the potency of it so id just use it for teas.
