Alright i have 8 Northern lights and 4 Mazar x Afghan plants that are only 5 days old and about 3" high and was planning to veg them indoors for one month under cfs then put them all outside in 2 x 2 holes filled with black earth/perlite.

So my questions are:

1. Should i veg indoors for one month first then place outside or just put them all outside right away?

2.Would 2 x 2 holes be good enough? And could i grow with black earth soil mixed with perlite the whole grow?

umm yea i'm pretty sure you are aiming too high. i think you should expect 2-3 ounces per plant. unless you have a fully grown pure sativa that is around 8 feet high, maybe that would get 2 pounds

Are you sure because some plants can grow up to 8 lbs i was looking to getting at least 1/4 of that....This winter when i grew my 1 bagseed indoors under 250w hps i got 1 and a hafe ozs so iam pretty sure to expect more then that outdoors.

Today i bought 14 bags of 20l organic potting soil because i thought it would be better then using black earth. Was this a better decision?

The bigger your holes the better your plants are going to do . So 3x3x3 or a 4x4x3 would be better . If you have good light and good soil and fertilize on top of that you should be able to get 2 lbs per plant, but I always say its better to keep your expectations a lot lower (1lb instead of 2lb)than the actual outcome so you always do better than you expected at the end . And as far as the soil goes I never used either but as long as both are organic then there probably going to be better than the native soil so if you have a 2x2 hole and you have extra soil left make it 3x3,etc. I mean unless its worse than the native soil it can do nothing but help.

one more thing you should harden off your plants (shaded light not full light) until they get a bit bigger and get few good sets of leaves otherwise you could kill them from the shock of having very little light to all of a sudden full sun. And since they are so young their roots dont reach down that far yet and it very easy in full sun to dry out the top of soil where most of your roots are probably right now. You want them moist but not soaking wet so its good to keep a good eye on them until you transplant.

I transplanted 6 plants yesterday from 24 hr light to 15/9 light outdoors and kept 6 indoor and left them by the window Ceil for the night. would this kill them or would i be safe?
