i herd from a very wealthy farmer that if you live in the NE the best time would be after mothers day, if your circumstances are right

The mothers day comment for the most part is correct.....

Mine Have been out through the day for the past month to enable the best opp. for sunlight and to allow the little darlins time to harden off prior to being harshley subjected to our chilly northeastern evenings. Mine are out now for good, nice n' stealthy, and in four days have flourished due to their being out since they were wee anyhow.

what do i do if i have no place to harden them off and my ourdoor site is very far away? can the coke bottle greenhouse method be left alone unattended for a week or so?

use the CD Case green house. Take the clear part of the Cd Case and essentially make a small box. Also me personally, i dont like leaving the children unattended at such a young age

At least you won't have to water them.

that shoudlnt be to bad.one year me and my freind planted like 20 deformed beans in a random patch and it rained for like a week straight, went back like a month later and there were 9,8 inch plants most of them died because of being crowded but as long as it doesnt flood or overwater them you should be ok

Its no prob for me to water these guys, but its gonna be so cloudy like it is now and i need beaming 5,200 lumers per square foot from that sun power, and these guys are only about 3 weeks old from seed and have been out 4 a week and a half

I have a question, I live here in Nova Scotia so I basicly get the same weather and temps as you guys. We're forecast to get 2 inches of rain tomorrow, is that to much for my plants to handle ?? There about 2 weeks old and 6-7 inches tall.

i think you'll definitely be alright. ive had some sprouts in for the past few weeks and they're doing fine with all the rain we have been getting. just just make sure that you're safely beyond the last frost.

Well I was going to plant my girls out this weekend, but it's pissing down, and will all weekend. I guess I'll get them out the first nice day. I went out on Wed. and prepared my spots so it won't be that big a deal planting. Of course it's raining, it's the long weekend in Canada,,,
