Outdoor Grow 2012: Purple Kush, Lemon Kush, Bubba Kush and Og Kush

Oo I got some lemon og kush coming in the mail from attitude ( and other goodies) can't wait to give this a go. Tagging along. Can't wait until harvest!

yeah.......this Lemon Kush reeks when it barely starts to flower.....doesn't even smell like weed. It is so damn citrusy......kinda piney too......I hope that same smell comes back at harvest because it is quite pleasant.

damm lots of plants. it was difficult for me to take care of two plants but you can do well with 10+ plants. its obvious that the sun-grow is the best. when all the plants will flower I think you'll get tons of smell.
when you plant in the gardens soil, in the plant spot, you use other soil bought from the stores?

Yeah I added 6 cubic feet of store bought potting soil and a lot of leaf mold from my compost pile that was at least 3 years old. Those plants in the ground recieved zero nutes throughout veg. I just started to give them bloom nutes the other day to boost bud production. It worked pretty well. I am going to be growing a few plants indoors this winter too.

Speaking of compost piles, my husband dumped a couple of yards of horse manure and rotting hay in a heap and announced, "Honey, you have that compost pile you always wanted!" Aside from the fact that I don't recall verbalizing a yen for a compost pile, I figure I can put it to use. I was wondering how long I had to wait before I used some of it and how much to use. I was hoping to work some into my grow spaces next spring prior to planting.

Usually it takes a full year to be ready......If you "turn" the pile every 2 weeks you can probably get it ready by spring time.......you also might want to consider mixing in some leaves because the horse manure and leaf combination will make the pile heat up quicker and break down faster. I also save all my kitchen scraps and throw them in their......I even have my wife's grandparents and my mother-in-law save their coffee grounds for my pile lol. Grass clippings work great too aerate the pile.......I just turn mine and wet it every 2 weeks.....seems to work for me........If you have your hubby work that pile at least every 3 weeks I'm sure it will be ready by spring.......I am going to just till some Kellogg Patio Plus and Myco's into my soil next year. I think I had too much Nitrogen in my soil this year because the stems aren't very strong but the plants look really healthy.

DaMN!! I was looking forward to seeing your harvest bro. Sorry to hear about that. How did he know where the plants were at man?

I think growing indoor is easier then out. Have you thought about trying super soil? Plants look good

I think it's a lot easier growing outdoors but there is a learning curve, for sure. Once you can survive the extremes of weather and pests, she really has everything she needs.

No. I don't plan on using a super soil mix. I might one day. But I want a few grows under my belt before I do the super soil. And thanks.

Indoors scares me because a lot ca go wrong.....cooling systems can shut down........lights can stop working......or the ballast can mess up......Hopefully mine can be problem free lol

Took my husband out to my grow today and he was like omigod
