ive had some plants outdoors now for about roughly 2 1/2 months.
im using a mixture of 75% dirt from my backyard and 25% potting soil im using no nutrients just watering every other day or as needed.

The two plants have already shown their sex(females obviously)

My question is since they have already shown their sex would it be ok to start adding a flowering nutrient?

and vice versa would it be ok to let them go all natural as nature intended(water only diet, no additives or nutrients).

if you tell me the answer... i could write a book :)
Ok, I will write a book with the answer in it for you, and you can read it when it comes out in a few years, and then write your own book ;)

Or you could look through Outdoor grows from previous years from people in similar or close locations and see what they did and check out their results...

I would say- Feed veg when need veg, and bloom when they bloom, riding the micro bus all the way ;)

I think you would benefit from giving them some food. Although I probably wouldnt give bloom nutes until they are forming flowers and for sure in the bud cycle

I was under the impression that North and South mattered a bit more than East or West, as well as elevation and local landscapes ;)

depending on how far east or west you go in the US it changes. when you hit the coasts the "zones" slightly wrap north.

Yes, it is OK to start adding a flowering nutrient. What type of nutrient were you thinking about or plan on using?

I wouldn't recommend letting them go (all naturale) as they wouldn't produce nearly as much yield and thats the whole point right?;-)

yea im in the east too in ontario and I've never grown before but i know you harvest at the end of september or early october so you prob start flowering late july early september
