Hi folks a couple of years ago I asked for some advise on breeding outside, but never got around to it. Looking back on the advise I was given on that thread, and reading through some others, I've formulated this plan:
Grow out as usual, all seeds will be popped at the same time, grown in the nursery, then planted out.
When they start to show sex, clone the males I like, then kill all the males, keep the clones in the greenhouse far away from the grow. Collect pollen from the males, then pollinate the females.
My question is, will I be able to clone the males, and have those clones produce pollen in a short enough time frame to pollinate the females? I haven't clones before so I have no idea if this is going to work in the timeline.
Thanks.
