I found a seed awhile back i decided to throw it into a rockwool cube and see what happens. Here i am now and i think its starting to look ok. Just a couple questions. Most of the leaves have 3 leaves but there are alot with just 1. Thoughts or reasons?? Other question is the leaves all have white spots on them. Thoughts or reasons??
I love in Los Angeles. I hand water with just regular tap water a few times a day. It gets direct sunlight for about 5 hours a day 9am to around 2pm with shade the rest of the day.

I had that 1 leaf problem once, curiously also with white spots, but they were growing under spiral fluorescents. The leaves started growing more normally under more light (switched to T5HO bulbs). It's difficult to conceive a low light outdoor situation, but most of your photos show the plants in shade. I'd try getting them a sunnier location.

Sun is your friend outside. Shade does nothing but waste stored energy. They need at least 2 hr additional sunlight, minimum.

I have one of my girls in the shade of a bigger girl and the flowering stage is very different between the two. That is minimal shade from a plant too close to the other plant. Real shade is your enemy!

Get stealthy and see if you can get on your roof and get a little extra sun a few days a week. It would be worth it.

You'll get some bud, but just a couple more hours of energy will do wonders for you. She's healthy.

Are you overwatering? Your stems are purple, I'm too new to really tell you what the problem is but I would put my money on over watering.

I have a plant with purple stems. Not all that uncommon from my research. She is flourishing, and some strains do this naturally.

Some plants have purple in their genetics but as he mentioned he was watering a few times per day the first thing I thought was over watering since that can cause plant stems to purple up, not to mention the fact that he's not getting much sun so the plants are probably sitting in a soaking wet medium too long. Idk like I said I'm no expert so by no means take my word for gold but it's something to look at for sure.

Yeah, you probably need a south-facing balcony, without tall trees around the complex. I don't know if this will work in your situation, but it's an idea for you to consider, which is basically supplement it with light *during the shaded-daytime hours*. A light at night is obvious, but a porch light on during the day is difficult to note unless you look directly at it. It may be possible to hide that light source from the public by pointing its fixture in such a way the bulbs cannot be seen directly. Then the question is whether a glow from indirect light would be visible after sunrise and before sunset. It may depend on the light type and color. I doubt if anyone would note the indirect light glow from 2700 to 5000K fluorescents, sufficient lumen density for growing only extends about a foot from the bulbs (so you would have to keep the plant very close to the light sources, within a few inches).

Thank you all for your responses. I figured this was the issue. This really was an experiment to see what would happen. Its fun to watch lol. As for over watering that not an issue as its sitting it clay pellets and drains to a lower bucket. Im using plain tap water and will let it continue on its journey. I have an indoor grow that is doing ok as well
