So i put it in a little "hospital" an old 1.5 gallon fish tank with a blue light. i also put the 2 florescent lights from the closet next to it. i put new higher wattage lights in the closet and put the fan in there permenantly. it also free'd up some outlet space and neatened up wires. i used 4 ratchet straps for tying dirtbikes into the truck and 2 150 watt halogen work lights. i took some pics and i will post soon of both the "hospital" and the new light setup. i'm "praying" for my little #8. Also i've decided i may have over fertilized so i'm flushing just pure water filtered thru a reverse osmosis unit. the new lights are hotter but the closet was very cold with the fan in there now it's a good temp. i'm hoping these things start growing fast!

so i found out the lights had a high and low setting in the closet. they are now on high and twice as bright! they are also much hotter keeping them cool is tough. i'm going to be used to sleepping with the lights on since i can't shut the closet door anymore the fan is on high i'm going to have to get a stronger and quieter fan. probably something stand up that i can aim better to get more cooling. I'm also selling a mountain bike tomorrow so i'll be getting a bunch of cash so i'm going to get a better light for the closet. i'm also hoping to finally order those auto blueberry seeds and possibly some white russian auto's as well!

Oh also i've put the wounded soldier on a kinda weird light schedule... the blue light stays on at all times, but every 6 hours i cover the area to make it dark and turn off the florescents for 1 hour. then wait 6 hours and repeat. the nice part of being unemployed is that i can alter my sleep schedule to tend to my plants needs haha! anything else? i can't think of anything... check out my picture album to review the grow so far! any suggestions anyone?

Jus my 2 cents, but seriously u need to get rid of the foil! It absorbs the light, not reflect it..you doin it backwards, sort-a-speak

ok will do i'm going to do that now. i'm hoping there is some flat white paint in the basement.

ok so i took down the tin foil in the closet. i don't know if it was that, the new lights, flushing the nutes i used or a combination of all of them but #1 especially and #6 a little bit have grown tremendously overnight! i think those are going to be my only 2 plants though the others seem to not have sprouted and the 2 that started to sprout actually died when the light broke #8. so if #8 doesn't pull through then i'll only have #1 and #6 left. i'm concerned that mine are not growing at the rates that other peoples autos have that i've been watching. i'm not sure if it's because i'm not using any nutes or if it's because of my lights/grow room set up. i know that this being my first grow i have a lot to learn and like most things in life i've learned that if you don't have the right materials it's not going to come out quite right. the next grow will be better i hope! also i may be moving back to the east coast soon so i may have to abandon these girls then and start fresh back there.

so today i bought a 150W HPS light which is over #1 and #6. #8 is still in the "hospital" and looking green now instead of yellow. i'm hoping "she" strengthens up and starts growing again i'm excited to have it under the hps light and flowering soon! #1 has make enormous size gains in 2 days and i believe will be showing sex in the next few days (praying for fem). i'm also going to be building a white surround that utilizes the light best and will have ventilation and hopefully by the fall a filter for full indoor grows! i'm goign to be making some brownies tonight as well. i've never done it before and never eaten one before. my only brownie encounter in my life got me arrested in highschool. i'm going to be using a 1/4 oz of some pretty good greens!

#8 has been pronounced dead I transplanted #1 into a bigger pot so it would grow more and be ready to go outside in the next few days. I'm hoping this crap weather turns in time I don't want them outside in this cold rain. How long does it usually take to show sex for these autos? I've heard 2 weeks but it's been well over that since they've sprouted and no sign of sex yet

Yo guys you better rethink those IKEA lamps probably not UL tested to run 24hr straight!!! Also get rid of the tin foil and use white paint if you cant get your hands on some mylar. "Spending just enough will only get you just enough", Never skimp on lighting and nutes. GRADY

I bought a 150w HPS light and took the tin foil down like 4 days ago. I think #1 is starting to show sex but I don't have a magnifying glass to see for sure. I hope it's fem! I'll post pics tonight or tomorrow of the progress.
