Outdoor Aussie Girls!

Hi everyone!

I'm just showing off my babies that are in their first week of flowering!

I have grown them outdoors in the Aussie summer but have managed to put them into 12/12 for two weeks just using a bit of timber laying around.

For those of you that think it's too sus to grow, just bend the buggers, they love it! I like being bent too!

I've managed to overcome thrips and spider mites with organic compounds to get this far but I'm glad I know how to now.

O by the way, if anyone can give me any tips on what specs of a microscope I'll need to see the trichromes it would be greatly appreciated!

Has anyone seen a strain like this? It seems a lil lighter in clour and thinner leaves than the Indica you have in the states. I'm assuming that my stuff is a strain of Sativa?

Enjoy!

Haahaaa, thanks Knowm!

I do enjoy Deadlifts in my workout!

I'm assuming that being outdoor buds they won't have ultra dense buds like some that I have seen you boys grow.

If you could feel the amount of tension on the stem it's quite impressive, I think they will be able to hold up the buds that grow.

But I haven't done an outdoor grow using nutes before, do you think they will be a bit more dense than without?

I'll keep the pics coming, these plants don't look much like pot now they are in flower, I've had mates walk straight past them, even told one that it was corianda and he didn't question me, dumb ass!

Enjoy!

Marius...nice looking plants, man! If I were to guess, I would have to agree that it is definitely a sativa dominate strain you have. Love those long finger leaves [and the pic of BM in the background...]. Love to see some photos when they finish flowering.

Heres an update, I hope the buds get a lot thicker.

Both plants have gone skywards about 4 inches in the last couple o weeks, silly buggers should be growing denser buds not more stem!!!

Tell us what you think!

hey man, im from australia to. Gold Coast to be specific. I got quite a few plants and they all look the same strain as yours. I think its just sativa which was brought over when the english settled here no specific name. I got all my seeds from a baggy i got in Nimbin. If you find out anything more about the origin/strain let us no. Peace and happy growing.

Hey lads,

I too am from Aus (NSW) and got some baggies from nimbin. planted 4 striaght into big ass pots, 2 per pot. All popped and one died (I swear it was gonna be a fem. hehe). Mine only started showing sex last week. 2 fellas that are Sativa dominant and 1 beautiful Indica dominant lady. Marius Did you induce the 12 hour lighting period? If so how? Will it continue to flower if you left it outside all day?
Just asking cause the days are still too long down here.

Big, how are yours doing?

I did induce my 12/12 cycle, used a box I made from masenite and a small area in the backyard. You just have to be strict on the 12/12 for two weeks and then you'll see male or female. Move anything that looks even close to male.

I do have a third plant that I have let grow, its almost up to 6 foot now and has started to bud by itself. I'm guessing these plants grow to what they can and then flower even if they dont approach the shorter light hours.

This particular plant only gets a few hours of good morning sunshine then very filtered light. I'd say it has sort of reached it veg potential and decided to bud.

The two smaller girls I have are going nuts trying to grow straight up on every cola, I had no choice but to tip a couple that were getting too suss. Hopefully it makes them bulk up a little.

I had a small sample of it the other weekend, got quite stoned from one refer using leaf as spin. The leaf tends to give you a bit of a headache afterwards though. It could also be the consistent ferts I'm dosing them with, god knows what shit I'm smoking! I'll go to straight water next week getting ready for harvest.

I'll upload some pics tomorrow.

Good luck boys, it's good to see all you Aussie in here too, its frosting in a lot of places in the states by the sound of it, so its quiet on the outdoor front on this forum!

Keep up the good work!

Hi ,,, I'm an Aussie girl 2..... but I don't get it... it's not flower season out doors... I'm in the south east and its still way too cold down here to even have them outside... we put them in from Oct,Nov and they start to flower in Jan......maybe that's why you are having such a big growth spurt Marius....? are your plants in full dark when its dark?
I know the strain but have no idea what its called ...good luck with that :^)
