Outdoor 100 gallon Smart Pots with inoculated super soil!!

Box of cooked brown rice in a “trap” to capture local microorganisms. Buried the box in the ground, in about 10 days there should be a white fuzz in the box these are the local indigenous microorganisms . That will complete step 1 of 4 in making a living soil amendment. More to come!

Finally had some free time to get the girls outside and into 15 gallon smart pots, up from 3 gallons. Mixed half my super soil and half roots organic, they will go into the 100 gallons with straight super soil around July. Tomato cages to start the support structure for these soon to be monsters. ✌️

Making step number 3 today finally!! 100 pounds of wheat bran on the ground to start. 4 buckets of water adding a spoonful of fermented # 2, some azomite, kelp meal and a concoction my buddy Tony brought me consisting of lactic acid bacteria, eggshell extract, fermented plant juice made from stinging nettles and leaf mold biology! Covered it all up waiting for it to get fuzzy!

# 3 is complete and mixed with the soil!!! Less than a week and this stuff is ready to use . Gonna do some small test runs to get a feel of how to add to the 100 gallon pots and how much to use.

This is only half super soil half roots organic without the IMO # 4 and these plants still are growing like they are on steroids. Hard to imagine what they are going to look like in those big pots in a couple months.

Took no less than 5 wheelbarrows to stuff one of these pots full! Needless to say it’s looking like I’ll only have enough soil to do 3 100 gallons, the remaining 3 will probably stay in the 15 gallons or go in the ground. The local soil composition is very sandy not very nutritious so I think they may do better in the pots with the killer dirt.
