As long as you don't light a fire you will be fine... Remember, no smoke without fireAnyone know if it's okay to vent outtake into my chimney I was thinking for helicopters and stuff Because we don't use the chimneys round our ways now I'm wanting to put a 6inch outtake into the chimney breast is this safe ????
There's nothing there just brick when I installed the duct I'll be okay won't I haha?I have done this, it works but you need to make sure you do it right or you can kill yourself from carbon monoxide. Make sure you're not choking the exhaust if your heating system
Yeah i know what you mean now my chimney was empty when a made the whole nothing gets used in there anymoreI ran the flex ducting from the lights to metal ducting going out the room to the top of the boilers exhaust that goes into the chimney. The air flow needs to pull the exhaust from your heating system vs choking your heating system and having the exhaust exhausting in your living area.
HahahaUse common sense and you will be fine, just remember Santa is on his way soon....
