Out of nowhere.

I went in and checked on them yesterday and found one of my seedlings looking super sad out of nowhere. It has normally been one of the resilient ones but I’m not sure what has happened.

Kellogg’s Organic Potting Mix, with a slight bit of Dr Earth Veg blend.
Light schedule right now is 18/6. Just using 2 17w basic shop CFLs until the tent is ready.
I water about once every 3-4 days depending on what the soil feels like.
There have been some spikes with humidity but I levels off at night around 65%. Temps range from 70ish-high 80’s. Hoping y’all can help! Thank you!

Spend a little money on some quality soil and things will be much easier for you.

There is a fine line between dirt and soil , and properly amended soil will save you alot of headache and pay for itself

100% going to do that on my next grow now that I have a little knowledge. Any chance this one can make a recovery?

Foxfarms happy frog soil is like $12 for a 25lb bag at local nurseries.. go pick some up and transplant those, you won't need nutes for about a month and the plants will thrive.

I’m afraid they’re a little small to transplant yet. I just don’t want to stress them out too much. I’ve got a crippled bunch unfortunately. This droopy one, one that got knocked over early in her life, and one that’s got half a leaf gone cause of a bug. This is my first grow so y’all are obviously more experienced than I am! Just trying to be cautious

No problem.. that's why we are here is to learn and help.. buy some good soil and transfer them asap though... the plants are tough as hell if you give them the right chance to live :)

I have a small tent so their final pot is going to be a 2.5 gal pots. Would it be safe to go ahead and transplant to those?

Yes.. btw.. fuck all the transplanting shit, i go straight from paper towel to final pot, i have no idea why people transplant so much. when you transfer just be super gentle and the plant will be fine.

I have read that in the past and used to do that but i didn't see enough of a difference that it mattered. to each their own though :)

Will Happy Frog be ok the rest of the time all the way through flower? Would ocean forest be better? Also the nutrients I’m using are granular, idk if that matters.

You didn't need to add any fertilizer to that soil as it already has nutrients. Those are seedlings they don't need much.

Ocean forrest is much hotter, i have only run happy frog myself.. either one has enough nutes for about 1 month then start feeding.. the plants will tell you what they need.
