That looks great! What latitude are you at? That seems far along.

Thanks, I'm not certain what hot soil to get for next year, was thinking Fox Farm in ground but hey miracle grow worked just fine for cheap too. With mainlining, the main stem does split, but it's reinforced by being held up against the tomato ring cage. I intentionally press apart and split topped stems by 1-2 cm in veg phase because it heals up ridiculously stronger and thicker. Thanks for sharing, this is my *First grow (i attempted last year but my father cut down that crop in week 4 of flowering thinking it was still illegal in ny. He didn't know what it was until someone told him). Here you can see the structure under these stemsI don't top because I want the least amount of density, and I don't to make it easier for the main stem to split. My friend runs a local grow store and is a student of soil biology and created a proprietary blend which I had used indoors once, with great success! He formulates it so that you don't have to feed a 6 to 8 week veg, then flip to flower indoor grow, if you are using at least 7 gallon pots. In other words, a pretty hot but diverse soil. The worm tea was just 2 gallons of my worm compost in a 55 gallon drum with about a cup of fish emulsion and about a cup of honey. Ran an aerator for about 24 hours, to get the beneficial microbes to proliferate, and then gave about 4 gallons to each plant. Just did this this one time. The more mulch you can put on an outdoor plant, the better! Keep the roots cooler and slow the moisture loss, and provide continously breaking down, compost.
