Our truck

Today we sold our truck, I didn't want the old girl to go but my husband said the price of fuel was to high to keep her, although I have to admit it did use a lot of fuel going backwards and forwards to the supermarket.
so we are on the lookout for a nice economical car I'm sad to see her go though.

That's OK. Next time you can get a real truck. A truck that's all grown up.
Well that one was just fine for me, I expect where you live they are much bigger and better but your trucks would be no good here theirs barely enough room on the roads for cars. Anyhow I might just get a horse like the one in your avatar!

I have one like this. It doesn't have the extra seating but is a good little pony and gets me around 30 mpg (American; 36 mpg Imperial). cn

If you are looking for a cheap, economical truck, id go with the Ranger (Ranger danger!), they aren't too bad. I had a toyota 4runner (4cyl, 5 spd, 4X4) , awesome SUV (a REAL SUV), and cheap on gas. Had this nasty habit of rusting everywhere though...

Agreed. I don't think Mitsubishi truly understands the concept of a truck.

That's a truck? It looks more like a van with a tiny bed in the back.
Yea that's what we call a pick up truck, and I happen to like it! I suppose your idea of a truck is twice as big with spot lights and a pair of cow horns on the front, sorry to disappoint you but we are a tad more civilized here in the uk.

That truck looks fun, Granny! I have a Chevy S-10 that has a V6 and it's not great on gas, but it goes where the bigger trucks can't go, so that's a plus in my book.

Sorry you had to say goodbye Granny. I wouldn't know what to do without a truck. I have a nissan frontier. Its getting old though. I'll probably have to take it out back and shoot it soon.

No, I thought the whole idea of having a truck was so you could haul large amounts of things in it. I don't see the point of a having a bed that small, my grandmothers car has more trunk space than that thing. That thing is a glorified car.

I don't like the big flashy jack off trucks you described either, those people aren't using them for it's intended purpose. How the hell would you unload the back of a truck if the bed is 7 feet off the ground?

Easy, drop the tailgate, mash the throttle in reverse, stomp on the brakes...bed unloaded
