Our first grow for anyone interested.

My girlfriend and I started our first grow about 23 days ago, and well so far so good. We are using Fox Farms Ocean Forest soil in a closet lined with 2 white walls, and 2 walls covered with reflective material. The light we are using is a 250w HPS and the plants are currently getting 18 hours of light. We spray them every night with fresh water and are hoping for a good outcome. We have been tracking our progress through a website/blog which can be seen by clicking this text, any feedback is welcomed feedback. Oh yeah, they started as clones too. Anyway we're new here and look forward to becoming part of the community!

Those look like some really tall plants. Very nice :) Gonna be monsters compared to mine.

I was told that if you cut off clones before flowering the process doesn't go as well? Mother plan't doesn't want her babies taken, that's kinda how it was positioned to me.

oh no!! you WANT to take them when she is veggin!!! much easier for them to transition!!!!! for sure if yur willin to...them take them now!!!!...dont get it wrong ...you can take when she is flowerin but not after the 2-3rd week at the most!!!

I'm gonna veg them a bit longer, but I appreciate the advice and will clone them before flowering.

you can clone any time iv done it with buds on it and she took, but it better now then later. the bottm branches wont proudce any thing werth it any way. this way the mother will put all her energy to the top of plant. i would do at least 3-4 nodes up. witch will give you 6 to 8 clones. you dont want them on there any way. if you havent cloned before read up on it. its not hard to do. just another process you need to learn. if you dont already know. there will be some things youll need.

Hmm not to derail, but the bottom branches on my plants are pretty big hehe, im not sure I want to cut them, but I need a couple more clones. you say they dont make much?

Ok, i got cloning gel, jiffy pots, and a tray for them. They would do fine in 18/6 hours light/dark yeah?

Nice plants I am also using Fox Farms Ocean Forest. I am 6 days into flowering. Good luck with your clones. I will keep an eye on your grow. I don't have much if anything to offer as far as help this is only my second grow, first with females. :)

o yea take the clean them up and clone them. them bottom branchest are for cloning. you can do it with out a dome or a cloning machien but i would get a dome if nothing else. by taking them it will help you ladys later on. in flower but give you more to grow with out going through the seedling process. look at my clones on the link below. then make up your mind.
