More air circulation can bring the temps up, it messes up convection.reason for so many fans using 2 1000 watt hps takes alot of wind threw the tent to keep temp down and plants at ideal temp, plus with carbon filter on takes alot more suck, i vent threw cooltubes then outside
Shure that's going to happen with any grow using negative pressure, but fans dont short, have you tried lowering humidity lower than outside humidity realy realy hard to do, unless you chuck a realy realy good dehumidifier at it, but as soon as you open tent your back to outside humidity again, so moisture in air is mute point peace an happy smokingWouldn't the moisture in the tent get sucked into the fans intake and eventually cause a short?
Or some sort of premature failure?
Compared to a simple ocolating fan using the ambiant air to cool its motor?
Surprisingly Gorilla tape isn't lightproof. Electrical tape works better and is fully lightproof. I don't know if its that important but better safe than sorry.I finally got one, not cheap but everyone here suggested it. Going to toss my hurricanes.
Now, any suggestions on setup in a 4x4 tent. Back left/right corner? Right in the middle of back o'tent?
When do I turn it on, when seedlings first pop up, or wait until day 7?

Guess I'll need to Gorilla tape all the lights/indicators.
I got a couple years out of my first one. Just make sure it's level and stable so you're not putting unnecessary strain on the motor. I think that's what led mine to fail, not having a sturdy platform so it wobbled a bit...How long can I expect this thing to run 24-7 before it burns out the oscillating function?
Aye cuz all the heats at the top.More air circulation can bring the temps up, it messes up convection.
My temps are lowest without the fan, and on hot days I keep the fan off. Fan on = 2-3C higher.
