Oscillating Tower Fan question.

you need some fan to do that, oscillating moves it around the tent, keeps it right, same is light, nutes everthing else its a balancing act

More air circulation can bring the temps up, it messes up convection.
My temps are lowest without the fan, and on hot days I keep the fan off. Fan on = 2-3C higher.

Wouldn't the moisture in the tent get sucked into the fans intake and eventually cause a short?
Or some sort of premature failure?
Compared to a simple ocolating fan using the ambiant air to cool its motor?

Shure that's going to happen with any grow using negative pressure, but fans dont short, have you tried lowering humidity lower than outside humidity realy realy hard to do, unless you chuck a realy realy good dehumidifier at it, but as soon as you open tent your back to outside humidity again, so moisture in air is mute point peace an happy smoking

If I run my fans blowing on my plants they get wind damage, I run them blowing against the walls of the tent and oscillating, this way they make all my ladies dance but no wind damage to any of them. I plan to test hanging my tower fan at the height of the canopy (or somewhere that's not on the floor taking up plant space) to give more room

Constant wind is not good. on off wind is the ticket. If the fan is too much get another. tower works well at lowest setting. If plants wilt and you have the fan done correctly look at plant top distance and move back 6 inches or so. Different watts for different distance. such as 400 watt hps perfect for 12 inches from light. Id start at 24 inches and move closer each day for young plants.

I've got this "40 Honeywell Oscillating Tower fan setup in the back of my tent. Set to real low speed & oscillating.

How long can I expect this thing to run 24-7 before it burns out the oscillating function?

Surprisingly Gorilla tape isn't lightproof. Electrical tape works better and is fully lightproof. I don't know if its that important but better safe than sorry.

I got a couple years out of my first one. Just make sure it's level and stable so you're not putting unnecessary strain on the motor. I think that's what led mine to fail, not having a sturdy platform so it wobbled a bit...

Aye cuz all the heats at the top.
Not getting mixed.

However in real life the lst should be higher because you aren't removing the microclimate around the leaf. Which is one of the main purposes of air circulation
