Oscillating Fan Positioning

Hi,

I'm finding having an oscillating fan mounted to the wall in my cramped room to be a bit of a hassle. I have to keep lights out of its way and potentially one day plants too.

I was wondering what people thought of mounting them to the ceiling? Lights would interrupt its air flow but... good enough anyway?

Place it on the floor blowing upwards through the plants.
Blowing down from the top will circulate warm air.

I would have said it was alright. I guess it would depend on the temps.

Winter is here

I'm not a huge fan of fans on the floor. Its where the dust, spores, insects and shit that I track in on my shoes lives. Also theres just no space I maintain about 25-26 degrees in the room at middle height.

Heres a pic of my space, the wall fan is out of frame to the right. I have fresh air coming in in the bottom right corner and air being exhausted from the top left on the far side. I'll think I'll give the ceiling mount a go, i'm running co2 so "warm" air should not be a problem

put it where ever it works for you as long as it moves air and isn't constantly on one plant wind burning it ….in the basement I blow them down above my light buts that's only cause its cold in the basement the lights heat it up and the fans blow that heat around in summer they go where I can get to work but I like pushing the heat up
