Installed the shelves today, I've got one more to put in which should bring the total number of sites to 140. This has been a work in progress for a long time and is now very close to completion.

The shelves are angled 45 degrees off the wall and hold 1 gallon grow bags filled with PieceCoir (a course coco-coir). The only thing left is to line the shelves with plastic, install the drains, and install the drip irrigation system.

I also took a picture of the Ice-Box water cooler, thing works awesome, my space is only 8x3 and when I just run 1000k temps are at 70F! Outside temps right now are in the upper 90's. Water cooling rocks! When I run both lights the temps slowly creep up to low 80's but I should be fine as I'm only running 2k on 12/12.

There is also a picture of the mom pre-cutting, I took about 170 cuttings from her last night. Once the cuttings are rooted they will go into the coco-coir bags. I'll veg for a week or so more in the bags and then flower the whole room.

The plants on the shelves now are just sort of a random selection AMS, HiJack, Super Skunk, Thai-Skunk from seed.

The big hindu-kush mom and the twelve smaller mothers have all been donated to the medical community . . . .:hump:

Some more pictures . . . .

This is the light set up. It's called a "max tube" unfortunately they stopped manufacturing them but I was able to get one of the last ones. Mine is 5ft they also come in a 48" length. I built a box out of some scrap lumber attached a 90 degree 6" vent flange and hooked it to the 465 cfm dayton blower. The tube slides down into it.

Air flows up through the light over the ice-box heat exchanger and out through an organic air high efficiency carbon filter and out of the room.

becareful with the Sunleaves PieceCoir

it has a high salt content

burned some of my plants.

also, i would get colored tubing or something to put over it like wire coil stuff they use to wrap wires.

algae and guck will start to grow in your tubes

I rinsed it pretty well, boneman's grow went well with the sunleaves stuff and he did not rinse it. I rinsed it with plain water just to be safe. I installed the irrigation system yesterday. I'm going to run a full reservoir (32 gal) ph adjusted water (5.8 ) and some final flush just to be extra safe.

What wire coils are you talking about? I think you are talking about the 240v I split into two outlets off that dryer outlet. That is armored cable, that's why I got it. Made for out door wiring applications, so it can get wet. The dryer plug itself has been sealed with silicone to be extra safe as well.

All other wires have been recently organized and most of the wires are now behind the black and white poly.
I'll go take some pics now, the set-up is pretty much finished hopefully I can transplant my clones into the coco-coir soon.

Thanks for stopping by LB, glad to see you are still around. :peace:

Here is a picture of the wiring for the ballast. You can see the two ballasts are up on a high shelf in the corner of the room. They are running off 240v that I spliced off of a dryer plug. A digital timer controls each light.

The second is a picture of the power strip that runs everything else, fan's, pump, ect. The pump is plugged into a digital timer.

A Picture of the shelves lined with poly. I moved the light to the center of the room as well.

This is the picture of the inside of the reservoir, the yellow line is fresh water with a ball valve attached to fill the reservoir. The pump is rated for 2,200 gph are 23' of head.

The irrigation lines are 1/2" and run to each shelf, it's simple to use a hole punch and attach 1/4" line to any point. One 1/4" line will run to each plant site.

I also took a picture of some super skunk I have on the shelf. The way it is growing is pretty cool. It's growing "flat" with all of its foliage pointed at the light.

i got tired of waiting. i have 35 hijack flowering indoors in soil. don't tell ANYONE.
Secret is safe with me . . . You have them in your stadium?

lol. im referring to the water tubing from your icebox silly :p
Oh! and I'm not even high maybe I should fix that . . . .:joint:
I was wondering what you were talking about with algae:dunce:

I think it would be hard for algae to grow in those lines, the flow rate through the ice box is pretty high and it's not set-up as the manufacturer recommends with a chiller. It just runs drain to waste, fresh chlorinated tap water . . . .

I'll definitely be watching for it though now that you brought it up, if it becomes a problem I'll wrap the tubing like you said.

A bunch of the stuff around here they try to pass off as medical is lame though. Someone needs to come by a teach a drying & curing class . . .

Well kind of "free" the apartment complex pays for the water . . . I've checked a bunch of times an there are not individual meters for each unit. Hell the pool has a huge leak in it and they fill it everyday because they're to cheap to fix it so I probably use less water than that at least . . .

I have no room for a friggin' chiller if you have not noticed the space is pretty full:weed:

I had some problems with my cuttings and some stem rot a bunch have rooted and I transplanted them into the coco-coir.

I'm pretty sure I averted disaster though because I re-cut them and built an aero-cloner. They are doing much better now and a few have started to root.

I've been delayed slightly but now it seems to be back on track, I hope to transplant the remaining cuttings to coco by next week.
