Organic soil questions

Interesting, and others have recommended Neem oil. I did go through last night and removed any leaves with any signs of pm...I may do a root drench with Regalia tonight...I had been putting it off b/c they are in 10g bags and the Regalia isn't cheap, but I don't want to lose these plants. I've been struggling with this since my last grow.

I have always used RO water...I started out indoors with an aeroponic system with AN nutes, so used the RO there, and just assumed it would be great for super soil as well. I have well water, slightly hard with a ppm of about 110.

I did just spray them with the well water and epsom salt though, and gonna go check my supplies for neem oil..I may have some already, and if not I'll order it, as you're not the first to say that,

This pm has been soul crushing. I'm not sure how much I have spent, plus my losses, and it's about enough to break me mentally...But I will get through somehow! I DO really appreciate your help...Been doing this 20 years steadily, and 20 years before that occasionally, and I still don't know squat it seems. I guess I have been really lucky until lately. Other than some fungus nats a few years ago, and the occasional small amount of bud rot, I have had zero problems.

I hear your pain. I started doing this when we screwed 36 incandescent bulb sockets on a sheet of plywood and wrapped the closet with aluminum foil and scotch tape. You are over complicating this hobby. And a root drench isn't necessary for the mildew. It only attacks the foliage. Flush thoroughly with well water Ph'd to 6.2. Mix 1/4 Tsp of epsoms salt to 1 gal. of well water. Add one drop of dish soap. Spray your leaves till dripping shortly after lights first come one.

Thanks...Just ordered some good organic neem oil from Amazon for Tuesday delivery, and about to go give the girls their first taste of my spring water!

I was keeping things simple til this PM hit, and since then I have been trying all kinds of things...But you are right about keeping things simple!!

Mr. NiceGuy, I'm sorry to sidetrack your thread!! Hopefully this is good info for you too!

Only use the epsoms salt for two days. Then skip a day and make a fresh batch if you think you need it. Your plants will come back. I'm sure the R/O was your issue. Contributed to the weakening of the plant and the following infestation.
