What’s a good organic soil that doesn’t require much to any care once planting? Besides water . Buy from HD or Lowe’s

I actually have my best luck planting autos in 1/3 peat, 1/3 (good) compost, 1/3 perlite....It's SUPER cheap, simple and they do amazing... they usually wont require any nutrients until around week 4... I'm not sure of any soil that will keep you going start to finish without having to add a little P,K a few weeks into flower but idk what idk... I'll follow this thread, I'm curious myself to see if anyone has made a mix for autos that only requires water start to finish... good luck man..

My veggies loved it in WA, can't get it where I am now, bummer
This is my first nutr grow. I fill I am few weeks behind on bud growth. Organically my flowers would be fat as hell right now and closing in on harvest.

Looks like they just started flowering, like 5+ weeks to go

Plus outside your under mother nature's care, so things can go different than in a controlled environment

I would probably park that plant away from the ones showing black spot. Also are they getting partial sun ( last pic next to corner ) ? .

Also thinking it should be on a riser instead on bare ground.

FFOF is probably the closet to being a “ complete “ soil over others. It needs very little to mod it.

I do non bottle grows with it. Ffof has a ph 6.3 out of bag - i use tap water with it.

Try this simple mix :

FFOF
EWC ( 10% of container volume )
Perlite ( add about 25% more - )
Kelp / Kelp meal ( either in water or added to soil )

Thats it . No cooking . No drama.
Feeding is simply recharging soil with a simple topdress of more ffof ( when needed ).

Water at ph of 6.5-6.7 ( for drift ) ... simple.

You can also do dry fertilizer with this mix too.
Dr. Earth Flower Girl / Megacrop / Happy frog fruit and flower ( BTW has chicken crap in it ) . Happy Frog fruit and flower ( yellow bag ) is steller when scratched into top soil and watered in.

OTHER bennies for FFOF .... if running only a soil / water only grow.......
Myco ( scoop of great white or similar )
Biochar / Humic

Either way FFOF is a good base to run , whether adding more soil or supplemental dry fertilizer.

I have to move them around 2pm to other secluded area of yard. In weathered days I bring inside to 2200 watts FS LEDs. Which is only about 700watts in a growers terms. They are NL so they live up to their background, far as pest and such. No issues yet anyway.

I have never kept a PH of 6-7... always runs 7-8... but plants still suck food good.
