Yes tap water is fine. You are letting this age before putting seeds in it aren’t you? Mold is not an objective. Mold toxins can be poisonous. Mushrooms showing is a different matter and is a sign of healthy soil. It’s my first run around with a fairly large sized cannabis grow. I just started mixing my soil, after adding several different organic amendments. I understand some peoples grow mold, is it bad if mine doesn’t ? & when it’s cooking can I use just unfiltered hose water ?
yeah I am I’m almost done with my full mix of all the soil so everything is evenly distributed then i plan to let it sit till about beginning of March. Let everything finish decomposing and suchYes tap water is fine. You are letting this age before putting seeds in it aren’t you? Mold is not an objective. Mold toxins can be poisonous. I plan to use clones instead of seeds as wellPerfect

One really great thing these days are the commercial compost teas that are available. Beats making it in the sun in buckets.Perfect

I was planning on using worm castings, some fertilizers based on which stage of growth I’m on and of course the molasses. Do you recommend those over that ? It’s my first big major grow I’m trying to adapt to doing stuff on a larger scale. Another question is how much should I give to each plant? I heard some people told me when they are babies about 1 cup to a gallon to eventually feeding the tea directly to the plants in flowerOne really great thing these days are the commercial compost teas that are available. Strongly recommend using Xtreme Gardening Mykos or Great White ($$$) to transplant your clones and to occasionally top dress with. When I transplant from Dixie cups I spray that plug well and sprinkle Mykos WP liberally over the plug and sprinkle some in the hole. Gives the roots a boost immediately.I plan to use clones instead of seeds as well
Plant your clones with Mykos and water. Watch the plants for any sign of developing deficiency. But more likely you will see burn early instead. Just a prediction. If so obviously you have no choice but to keep going. But withhold any supplements until you’re pretty certain it is deficiency. By bloom time you’ll have a good handle on what is going on. By then you might need top dressing.I was planning on using worm castings, some fertilizers based on which stage of growth I’m on and of course the molasses. Do you recommend those over that ? Yeah I actually have mykos ready for planting allready that one is a must! & yeah so you think I should just make teas with worm castings and molasses and fertilizers based upon any deficiency’s that could pop up?Plant your clones with Mykos and water. Molasses is strictly for the microbes so it’s safe to always give that. It does not have to be every feeding. The microbes actually attach to the roots and assist in the transport of the nutrients across the roots protective surface. They also use some of the nutrients but in immeasurable amounts. Keeping the microbial life healthy really is a huge boost in producing good bud.I
